The story of decreasing water resources
In a water-deficient mountain area of China, water must be drawn from dozens of miles away. When it rains, everyone will take all the containers out of the house to hold rainwater, and we are still wasting and destroying water resources. Isn't that a crime? I once did an experiment. If you wash your hands normally, you only need about 0.5 kg of water, but if you waste water, you need about 2.5 kg of water, which is about five times that of normal hand washing!

Facing the challenge of water, we must clearly realize that water resources are limited, and nothing in the world can replace water! Historically, many places have turned oases into deserts and cities into ruins due to the exhaustion of water sources. For example, the ruins of Loulan ancient city in Taklimakan desert and Wantong city in Mu Us desert are witnesses. One was once a bustling shopping mall on the ancient Silk Road, and the other was the capital of Xia State. Because there is no water, it is now submerged in quicksand. If there is no water in one place, people can move to other places, but if all the clean water on the earth becomes dirty and dried up, where should people move?
