The Historical Evolution of Changyi Town
Changyi Township is rich in history and culture, with numerous poems by literati and poets in past dynasties. There are also Neolithic sites in Hongshan Culture and Luoguo Temple in Five Dynasties and Ten Countries. Changyi was named after the Tang Cheng built by Liu He, the "King of Changyi" in the Western Han Dynasty, and it still has historical remains. Youtang Village has Changyi King's Tomb and Changyi King's Ancient City Site.

1958 belongs to William commune, 1960 is changed to Changyi commune, and 1984 is established as a township. 1997, with an area of 80 square kilometers and a population of 1.7 million, governs the neighborhood committees of Yaotou Street and nine administrative villages of Changnan, Tuanjie, Youtang, He Yao, Yao Xi, Liangping, Gaozhou, Changbei and Cao Hui. 1on March 4th, 999, Changliang Township was revoked and transferred to Changyi Township (Ganminzi [1999] No.52 reply).

Changliang Township is located in the northeast of Changleng Town and in the lakeside plain. Le (Hua) Chang (Yi) Highway can go directly to Nanchang via Changyi Bridge. 1953 was a state-owned changyi reclamation farm. 1964, renamed Changyi demonstration farm. 1970 merged into William commune. 1974, Changyi Breeding Farm resumed. 1984, Changliang Township was rebuilt. 1997, with an area of 10.2 square kilometers and a population of 0.9 million, governs Wuyu Administrative Village and Caohu Branch. The township government is located in Changyi street, 60 kilometers away from the urban area. 1999, Changliang Township was revoked and transferred to Changyi Township.
