Zhangdian, located in the middle of Shandong Province, borders Linzi, the ancient capital of Qi State, in the east and Zichuan, the hometown of Liaozhai, in the south. It belongs to the spreading area of Longkou culture and Dawenkou culture. During the Warring States Period, Yan Jiangle established the "Guo Chang" here. Today's Guo Chang Road contains the history of Zhangdian, which was famous overseas as "Huang Sang Store" at the end of Jin Dynasty and the beginning of Yuan Dynasty. Known as "merchants gather, and the gold is getting better every day", a shop in Huang Sang in the Song Dynasty was famous for its large courtyard, many rooms and prosperous business. Later, the name of Huang Sang Store was gradually replaced by Zhangjiadian. In the Yuan Dynasty, it was called Zhangdian.

Linzi District Linzi was originally named Yingqiu. In 859 BC, Qi Xiangong was renamed Linzi. 1970 was renamed Linzi District.

Zichuan District is named after the Zi River flows through the territory. 1956 is called Zichuan District.

One of the Boshan areas is Boshan, with mountains all over the country and little flat land. Boshan means mountainous. Second, because there is a "Boshan" in the southeast, it is named after the mountain. March 1955, changed to Boshan District.

Before the Warring States Period, zhoucun district was located at the junction of hills and plains, hence the name Tian. It used to be called daytime, because few people live in compact communities. Later, due to the change of pronunciation, it was called Ricun because it was close to the water, and it evolved into Zhoucun in the Northern Song Dynasty. Zhoucun district was founded in April 1955.

Huantai County, located in Xincheng County, was in the first year of the reign of Emperor Lizong in the Southern Song Dynasty (1228). 19 14 was renamed Qinshui County and later Huantai County. Because there is a circus in Qi Huangong.

Gaoqing county 1948 was formed by the merger of Gaoyuan County and Qingcheng County, and was named after the initials of the two counties.

Yiyuan County was founded in May 1944 and named after the birthplace of yi river, China.
