The Flying Tigers Ruins Park is a memorial park built on the former site of the command post of Tang Yang Airport of the American Volunteer Corps 14 during War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression's period. Located in Sulin Road, Lingui District, Guilin City, it covers an area of 250 mu, with a total investment of 65.438+0.6 billion yuan, of which relatives of the American Flying Tigers raised 400,000 US dollars.

The site park has been built in three phases, and the construction of three major functional areas has been completed. In the first phase, 30 million yuan was invested to build the Anti-Japanese War Memorial Exhibition Area, which mainly includes the Anti-Japanese War Memorial Hall, the Anti-Japanese War Heroes Monument, the Anti-Japanese War Heroes Sculpture Wall, the Air Force Soldiers Scene Sculpture, the barracks, the command post and other projects; The second phase invested 30 million yuan to build a high-tech space experience zone and helicopter air tourism projects; The third phase investment is 1 100 million yuan, which is used to build a comprehensive tourism development zone.

After the site park is completed, it will become an important base for American Flying Tigers veterans, their families and friends to revisit history and pay tribute to their predecessors. It will also be an important platform for further enhancing Sino-US friendly exchanges and opening an important channel for Guilin tourism to enter the European and American markets. At the groundbreaking ceremony, the Historical Committee of the American Flying Tigers donated some items used by members of the Flying Tigers to Lingui District.
