Fang Yaozhong (192 1- 1995), formerly known as Fang Heng, is an expert in internal medicine of traditional Chinese medicine. This paper puts forward a five-step method of TCM syndrome differentiation and treatment, which is "positioning, qualitative, five wins first, temporary solution and permanent cure, and prevention of disease" This paper puts forward a unique view on the basic connotation and material basis of the theoretical system of TCM. He is the author of Seven Explanations of Huangdi's Internal Classic, Three-character Classic and Seven Lectures on Syndrome Differentiation and Treatment.
