Shandong Province is the eastern coastal province of China, which is called Shandong for short and the capital of Jinan. It is located on the eastern coast of China, between 34 22.9 ′-38 24.01′ north latitude and 0/4 47.5 ′-122 42.3 ′ east longitude. It borders Hebei, Henan, Anhui and Jiangsu provinces from north to south. Shandong is 72 1.03 km long from east to west and 437.28 km long from north to south, with a land area of155800km2.
Shandong is one of the most economically developed provinces in China, one of the provinces with the strongest economic strength in China, and one of the fastest growing provinces, ranking third in economic aggregate since 2007.
