With the development of the war, most of Anhui fell. Li Zongren, president of the province, organized the establishment of a temporary middle school to accommodate the exiled youth, and soon moved the students from other schools to Hunan, where they were taken care of by General Zhang Zhizhong, and founded the Eighth National Middle School.

Ouyang Liangzhu, president of its high school branch, led teachers and students back to Guichi and founded Guichi Middle School. President Ouyang is highly respected. In his high school branch, a large number of outstanding politicians and scientists such as Zhu Rongji emerged. After Ouyang Liangzhu came to Chi, he succeeded the headmaster 10, and was elected as the deputy magistrate of Guichi County and a member of the provincial CPPCC. On the occasion of the school's anniversary, many alumni wrote to ask for sacrifices to sweep the grave for President Ouyang, and the school has made careful arrangements.
