The most worthwhile place to visit here is the ancient cultural residential group with rich historical and cultural connotations. There are 9 communities in Dalu Village, which were built in Ming and Qing Dynasties. The ancient dwellings are quiet and deep, surrounded by mountains and rivers, and there are many cultural relics such as Wen Tianxiang's handwriting, which witness the glory of history. The most precious thing is that there are more than 300 pairs of couplets created in Ming and Qing Dynasties, which are valuable for humanities and historical research. A series of artificial lakes separated the buildings of Ming and Qing Dynasties, namely, Zhong Er Building, Three Lobby, Dongyuan Villa, Shuangqing Hall, Panlong Hall, Dongming Hall, Chen Zhuo Garden, Fuchun Garden and Laoketang. The sound of chickens and dogs is endless, and the ancient trees, camphor trees and litchi trees beside the house, which mean "the article shows the world and the red top is the head", are like giant Pan Jing, winding and secluded, quiet and peaceful. Ancient dwellings are large in scale, complete in structure and function, high in planning level, excellent in ecological environment and rich in folk culture. Many cultural relics have been treasured, some customs of "ten miles with different styles" have been preserved, and a group of artists with hazy folk songs and dances have been active, and they have been awarded the title of "the first village of Guangxi couplets". It has attracted scholars, experts and tourists from all over the country, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, the United States, Canada, Australia, Israel, Singapore, Vietnam, Japan and other countries. Party and state leaders Cao Bochun, Ding, Lu Bing, Yuan Fenglan and Yuan visited the museum.
There are 9 residential quarters in Dalu Village, which were gradually built from the 25th year of Jiajing in Ming Dynasty to the 6th year of Daoguang in Qing Dynasty (1546- 1826). Since the construction of the first house, the old ancestors have deliberately created an atmosphere of prenatal and postnatal care, which is integrated with the surrounding environment. A good ecological environment and excellent talents complement each other. By the19th century, the Lao family in Dalu Village, with a total population of less than 800 people, had fertile land and cultivated 102 Confucian scholars and imperial academy students, of whom 47 were officials and 78 were awarded by the Ming and Qing dynasties. Rich and progressive, there are many officials, and the foundation of this family is constantly enriched and expanded. Those houses are all dug and burned from local materials in the low-lying land in front of the house, attached to the shape, and stored as lakes. Every time you add a family, you must follow the tradition of Lingshan: plant several litchi trees with excellent varieties, thus forming a series of ancient houses separated by six artificial lakes of different sizes, covering an area of more than 30,000 square meters, with the architectural style of Lingnan and the charm of Li Xiang.
Years have left marks, and every house has been marked with obvious characteristics and brand of the times. The ancestral temple with the most complete structure and function abides by rules and regulations and reveals a strong feudal patriarchal consciousness. At that time, what kind of room the family lived in, which door to enter and exit from, and which route to take were completely distinct; Dongyuan Villa, built during the Qianlong period in the heyday of the Qing Dynasty, is large in scale and luxuriantly decorated, and built like a maze. There is no one in the house, so it is difficult to find the way home. Shuangqing Hall, built in the sixth year of Daoguang (1826), is spacious, practical and comfortable. ...
