When was Chuzhou City established?
History of Chuzhou City: It belonged to Tangyi (now Liuhe District, Nanjing) in the pre-Qin period. Chuzhou Town was established in the Three Kingdoms and the city was established in the Southern Dynasties. The Sui Dynasty called Chuzhou, because the Chuhe River (painted water) crossed the border and "painted" the Chuhe River, hence the name "Chuzhou".

Chuzhou, called Chu for short, was called Tuzhong, Liu Qing and Xinchang in ancient times. It is a city under the jurisdiction of Anhui Province, located in the north bank of the lower reaches of the Yangtze River, the western end of the Yangtze River Delta, the east of Anhui Province, and the intersection of Jiangsu and Anhui. Chuzhou is the capital of the Six Dynasties, with the charm of Wufeng and Chu Yun, close to the northwest of Jinling. Since ancient times, there has been a saying that "Jinling locks the key, Jianghuai guarantees it", "Wu Chu is both tangible and more spiritual" and "Confucianism is flourishing, which is in harmony with Huaidong".
