In the 13th year of Yongzheng in Qing Dynasty (1735), Ahava was abolished and merged into Wendeng County, and Wei was assigned to Lisan, the new capital of Wendeng County. In the 24th year of Guangxu reign in Qing Dynasty (1898), Ahava and Liu Gongdao were forcibly occupied by Britain.
