At the end of Kaiyuan, Shen Zhenzhu, as a good son, was elected to the East Palace, and Prince Hengli gave the bid to Li Chu, the grandson of the emperor at that time. In 742, Shen Shi gave birth to the emperor's great-grandson Shili, now Tang Dezong, for Li Chu, a Guangping king aged 15 in the East Palace of Chang 'an Palace.

In 755, Xuanzong fled hastily in the Anshi Rebellion, but Shen Shi and some clan members were not lucky enough to escape with him. After Hengli proclaimed himself emperor in Lingwu, he named Li Yu, the eldest son, as the marshal of the military forces in the world. In the second year of Zhide, Li Yu recovered Luoyang, the eastern capital, and found Shen Shi held hostage by rebels for more than a year in Ye Ting, the eastern capital.

In 756, Li Yu recovered Luoyang and met Shen Shi at Yeting Palace. He was responsible for recovering the north and didn't welcome back to Chang 'an, so Li Yu arranged Shen Shi in Luoyang. Due to complicated reasons and security concerns, Shen Zhenzhu was not welcomed back to Chang 'an, but has been living in Luoyang Palace. But I don't want Luoyang to sink again, so Shen Shi's whereabouts are unknown, and his life and death are uncertain.

Introduction to Shen Zhenzhu:

Shen Zhenzhu was born in the famous "Shen Shi, Xing Wu" family in history. At the end of kaiyuan (74 1), he was chosen as a good son and was later given to Li Yu, the king of Guangping at that time. Shen Zhenzhu gave King Guangping only as a concubine, instead of being called "Princess Guangping" as in the play. A year later, Shen Zhenzhu gave birth to Li Yu's son, Shi Li, who later became Dezong.

In the play, Shen Zhenzhu is a talented woman with a loving heart and a heart to serve the country. After marrying into the palace, in the process of getting along with each other, I became attached to King Guangping. Working together through many difficulties has also made their feelings more precious. I didn't expect them to be separated for decades because of the Anshi Rebellion, and they were still looking for each other to wait and stick to their feelings.

Shen Zhenzhu stayed in Chang 'an to advance and retreat with the people, and was firmly remembered by Chang 'an people. Guangping Wang Liyu tried to dominate the battle, waiting for the day when he returned to Chang 'an, waiting for the reunion with Shen Zhenzhu. But in fact, Shen Zhenzhu is not the man in Li Yu's heart. During the Anshi Rebellion, Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty fled hastily with Yang Guifei and his grandchildren, leaving a family of royalty, including the concubines of these grandchildren. Shen Zhenzhu was left in Chang 'an.
