Author: Northwest Normal University went to Huining to pursue red memory and serve rural education.
Social practice has become an important way for students to get in touch with society, understand society and serve society, and has cultivated innovative spirit, cooperative spirit, practical ability and social communication ability. Every summer vacation, all schools organize students to carry out social activities in various places, with the aim of "being educated, developing their talents and making contributions" in social practice. The social practice of going to the countryside organized by our school is also in full swing. The social practice point of our college of education is Huining, which is a famous old revolutionary base area and the hometown of top scholars. Under the call of the theme of "Remembering Red Memories and Serving Rural Education", in this short period of ten days, systematic and orderly classroom teaching, various art courses, rich contents and various forms of literary evenings have been carried out one after another. I have won unanimous praise from principals, teachers, parents and students, and my hard teaching life has left me too many wonderful memories!
First of all, a grand and touching welcome scene.
The day after the exam, we packed our bags and got on the bus to Huining. Once a revolutionary holy land, there is now a famous county that won the national college entrance examination, which gives us a puzzling problem. Why did such a poor place create an educational miracle? Guys, you're talking to me. After three hours of "long journey", we finally arrived at our destination-Jill Zuiger Primary School in Chaijiamen Village, Huining County. Jill Primary School is located next to National Highway 3 1 1. Founded in 19 15, it belongs to Jill Middle School. Later, it was funded by Huining county and township government. In September, 2003, she moved to a new location and became an independent primary school, covering an area of 13 162 square meters. Chicken Primary School-a very special name, which makes people feel pity at first sight. Through the window, I saw a group of children standing at the school gate waiting for us. Before they got off the bus, they could feel their enthusiasm, excitement and joy hanging on their tender smiling faces, but they were shy and pushing each other. They wanted to get together and see their new teacher, but they pushed the students next to them to the front. Under their adoring eyes, I suddenly felt a heavy responsibility on my shoulders. When we got off the bus, the headmaster greeted us warmly and arranged for the students to help us with our luggage. The children's frightened and shy expressions were swept away and rushed over to help us carry our luggage. It's really sad to look at these childish little children.
Second, daily life, taking pains.
When we first arrived at school, the scene was better than we expected. Clean teaching buildings and campuses are also green. Even more gratifying is the planting of flowers and plants. However, when we had to drink cellar water when we were thirsty, we realized the hardship of the conditions. It hasn't rained here for many years, and the government sends them water once every six months. It is conceivable what the water will look like after half a year. There were many dead leaves and insects in the water, and the players didn't drink them. In less than a day, their mouths were thirsty and their nostrils were smoking. I have no choice but to put some tea and rock sugar and drink it through my nose. I'm really afraid that this "rich" water will make us have diarrhea, but it's strange that everyone is still okay. Because water is too precious, I have to change the habit of washing my hair once every three or two days in Lanzhou. I washed my hair twice in the countryside for more than ten days, and all the dirty ones were rolled up. When I first met children, I always felt that they were too careless and slovenly. Now look at yourself and laugh at yourself for being so sloppy. Clothes are "reluctant" to wash, but it is no good to wear them for a few days. It was really uncomfortable to wear it for two days, and suddenly I felt less dirty. Three meals a day is also very different from school. We eat cakes and pickles in the morning, and always stir-fry noodles at noon and afternoon. People who don't know the truth may think that our life has reached a well-off level. We eat noodles twice a day, so that the word "noodles" is not heard in Lanzhou. However, these are very different from our students' lives. Most of them are far away from school, and they have to climb mountains and mountains to get to school at five in the morning. There are only two hours at noon, so there is no time to go home for dinner. Eat the steamed bread brought in the morning when you are hungry. If you are thirsty, you will drink the water in the cellar. Seeing this, we really feel like knocking over the five-flavor bottle. After lunch, we all go to the classroom to visit our classmates and give them some snacks. We take measures to improve our lives. Although the conditions were difficult, everyone had a good time together. There is a craze for eating at the dinner table. Talking and laughing, warm as a family. Every afternoon after dinner, coach Shi Shuangyan will call everyone to rehearse the dance. Short time and complicated dance are a great challenge for those of us who don't have basic dance skills. Although we were bitter and tired, we had a good time, and everyone was even uglier when dancing. Any unlucky person who made a mistake was pulled out by coach Shi to train alone, which made everyone laugh. This heartfelt smile without sarcasm unites us more closely, but we fully practice the sentence "Diligence is good training, and hard work is sweet". After more than two hours of hard work every day, I can finally "dance" with the rhythm of music.
Three. Domino-style home visit
Seeing the children arrive at school early every day, surrounded by mountains, I am curious and want to see the family situation in the western countryside. When we went to the countryside, we also brought a topic to analyze the differences in time management between urban and rural primary school students. One of the variables is the influence of family rearing patterns on primary school students' time management. We want to have a home visit, but we haven't decided which one to go to. Yao Tongru, a particularly clever girl in our class, said that her parents wanted us to go to their home, so we might as well crash. Three of our teachers visited with Captain Gou (the local people can't speak Mandarin. At the entrance of the village, I asked an old man that it was not far, but we walked for more than half an hour. There was no one but Panshan Highway. We crossed a river and invited several talents to her house. Yao's mother was very enthusiastic when she saw us. She cut melon seeds for us and insisted on keeping us for dinner. We told her repeatedly that we had already eaten. But after all, I can't beat the enthusiasm of farmers. Simple and honest Yao's mother made us a washbasin at once, which made us laugh and cry. Coming out of Yao Tong's Confucianism, I met Yang Huijun in our class. As soon as the three of us got together, we decided to continue our visit. The conditions in Yangjiali are good. Grandpa is an old teacher with 30 years' teaching experience and speaks Mandarin very well. We are very grateful for our voluntary teaching in the countryside. Yang's two brothers were admitted to the university, and we told him about their study and performance at school. Just out of Yang Huijun's house, I met Wang Bo again. The child is very naughty and has poor academic performance. When I visited my family, I learned that my father had a car accident a few years ago and could not take care of himself. A broken family can also remind people of the price he paid for the treatment. In this way, his father came out trembling, told us the situation in Wang Bo, and repeatedly told us to take good care of the children. After listening to his words, we can't help feeling sad. After leaving home in Wang Bo, we turned right and came to the home of our monitor Wang Qi. Her family conditions are quite good, and we can feel that her parents are relatively literate during the conversation. This home visit really made us feel the importance of family education to children's academic performance. It's almost nine o'clock after a long walk, and we go back to school by moonlight. We don't talk much, and our minds are still talking to the parents who have punched each other.
It's a little long You can shorten it. . I hope this helps.
