Feixian County is located in the south-central part of Shandong Province. It is a satellite city, back garden, water source, energy base and important place for science and education in Linyi, and it is also a part of Linyi urban planning area.

Feixian County is a county-level city in Linyi City. Located in the northwest of Linyi City, it borders Yiyuan County in the east, Yishui County in the south, yinan county in the west and Xianghe County in the north. It is an important economic and cultural center in Linyi, with rich natural resources. Feixian county has a long history. In the Spring and Autumn Period, it was called Yan in the Warring States Period. Feixian County is the hometown of Yan Zhenqing, an outstanding calligrapher in Tang Dynasty, and also the old revolutionary base area of Yimeng in modern times, where the famous Yimeng Mountain minor was born.
