The origin of Rome
According to legend, the foundation stone laying date of Rome is April 2, 753 BC1,which has a history of more than 2,700 years. Rome was originally built on seven beautiful hills, so it is called "the city of seven hills".

Rome is the capital and largest city of Italy, and it is also the national political, economic, cultural and transportation center. It has a history of more than 2500 years. It is a world-famous historical and cultural city, the birthplace of the ancient Roman Empire, and is nicknamed "Eternal City" because of its long history.

There is a beautiful legend about the origin of Rome, that is, the famous story of "the mother wolf suckles the baby". Sylvia, princess of Numitor, king of Albalonga in Apennine Peninsula, fell in love with Mars, the Greek god of war, and gave birth to a pair of twin brothers after marriage. When his uncle Ammouri uz learned of this situation, he was furious and executed Sylvia, and ordered the twin brothers to be put into baskets and drowned in the Tiber River. Who knows that the basket not only didn't sink, but also drifted into the river. A female wolf took two children, fed them with wolf milk, and was later picked up and raised by hunters. When the two brothers grow up, they are both wise and brave, and their strength is endless. Finally, they killed Amaurius and avenged their mother.

With everyone's help, the two brothers built a city on the Tiber River where the mother wolf fed them, and named it after their name "romulo", which gradually evolved into the name "Rome". Today, the symbol of Rome is a female wolf looking at two boys. In the Rome Museum, there is a bronze sculpture of a female wolf accompanying two boys.
