Most emperors in China's history should be written into history books to praise their virtues or be remembered for a long time, and their merits and demerits will be judged by future generations. But some emperors were not recognized from the beginning, and some were reviled after their demise!

Wang mang

At the end of the Western Han Dynasty, Wang Mang usurped the Han Dynasty and established a new dynasty, but historians are unwilling to recognize the orthodox status of this short-lived dynasty. On the one hand, Wang Mang made a mistake about the country and was called a national thief. Wang Mang's New Deal is too idealistic, as if pursuing fame and profit. However, the new dynasty was increasingly recognized, and Wang Mang resembled the emperor who crossed the border into the Han Dynasty.

Yuan Shu

At the end of the Eastern Han Dynasty, under the uncertain situation, Yuan Shu was the only one who proclaimed himself emperor. Yuan Shu proclaimed himself emperor when he was surrounded by a strong enemy. He was despised by various governors and became the target of public criticism. Sun Ce, Cao Cao and Lu Bu attacked him. Yuan Shu died of resentment in the process of desertion. It's a pity to die.

Huan Xuan

The Eastern Jin Dynasty has been in turmoil since its establishment. During the reign of Daozi in Wang Sima, Huan Xuan attacked Jiankang and forced Emperor Jin 'an to give himself a Zen position, thus establishing the Huanchu regime. After Huan Xuan usurped the throne, the people complained bitterly. Northern government soldiers attacked by Emperor Wu of Han Dynasty and others, and Huan Xuan was defeated and killed.

Hou Jing

Hou Jing was a distinguished Xianbei person. He opposed Xianbei rule in his early years and later took refuge in Gao Huan in the Eastern Wei Dynasty. After Gao Huan died, he defected to Xiao Yan, Liang Wudi. Then Hou Jing defected and attacked Jiankang. Later, he proclaimed himself emperor, with the title of Han. Hou Jing was defeated by the diligent king Chen Baxian and killed by his men.

Yu Wenhuaji

At the end of the Sui Dynasty, Yang Di ate to death in Jiangdu. His guards rebelled and Yu Wenhuaji killed Emperor Yang Di. Yu Wenhuaji led the soldiers back to the north and was defeated by Shi Biao of Wagang Army. Later, he proclaimed himself emperor with the title "Xu". Half a year after the founding of People's Republic of China (PRC), Yu Wenhuaji was captured and killed by Dou Jiande, Hebei Province.

In his early years, Wang participated in pacifying the Yang Xuangan Rebellion and was deeply trusted. After Wang was defeated by Shi Biao, he occupied Luoyang. Later, Wang defeated the Wagang Army and surrendered the old general of the Wagang Army, so he proclaimed himself emperor, with the title of "Zheng". Later, Wang was defeated and killed by his enemy Dugu.

During the Tianbao period of Tang Dynasty, An Lushan launched the famous Anshi Rebellion. The insurgents once captured Luoyang and Chang 'an and established the Dayan regime. However, the Tang Dynasty is one of the most desirable dynasties in history, and this beautiful era began to decline from the Anshi Rebellion, so people naturally hold a grudge against the Anshi Rebellion.

Chao Huang

Huang Chao was the leader of the peasant uprising in the late Tang Dynasty. The rebels fought all the way from the Central Plains to Lingnan, and then came back to capture Chang 'an and Luoyang. Huang Chao became emperor and was given the title of "Daqi". However, Huang Chao did not establish an effective rule along the way, Zhu Wen rebelled, and the Tang Dynasty and the rebels took all the food. Huang Chao finally defeated Wolf Tiger Valley.

Han Liner

Han Liner was the son of Han, the general of the Red Scarf Army in the late Yuan Dynasty. After Han's death, he became the leader of the rebel army. With his help, he ascended the throne and proclaimed himself emperor. His title is "Dasong", which means opposing the restoration of Dasong in the Yuan Dynasty. Although the Han and Song regime failed, it inherited Zhu Yuanzhang, and Han Liner finally drowned in the river.

Li Zicheng

Li Zicheng was a famous rebel leader in the late Ming Dynasty. In Chongzhen 16, Li Zicheng annihilated the main force of Sun Chuanting and occupied Xi 'an. The following year, Li Zicheng established Dashun regime, and soon invaded Beijing and overthrew the Ming Dynasty. However, under the attack of Wu Sangui and Dourgen, Li Zicheng withdrew from Beijing hastily after repeated wars and defeats.
