According to documents, the scale of Xuanhua City has not changed much since the Tang Dynasty. The wall of Xuanhua City is about 500 meters long on each side, which is roughly in line with the scale of Zhou Li's examination of Gong Ji's "Nine Miles in the Emperor's City, Seven Miles in the Public, Five Miles in the Hou and Three Miles in the Zi". The location of the city is roughly in the area east of Chonglou West Street and Huangchengqiao North Street. The original Xuanhua City was a tucheng.
Xuanhua House is called "the first house in western Beijing" because it is the first house in western Beijing. Erected on the west side of Zhenshuo Building, the inscription of Xuanhua New Town written by the imperial envoy Luo in the Ming Dynasty is described as follows: "It is an ancient and secluded state, Qin Shanggu County, Yuan Xuande House, and Xingyue's secondary analysis of wood. Once in the tail, there are four mountains in the fertile soil, the Yanghe River passes through its south, and Liuchuan goes out of its north. Ancient and modern Si is a huge town, which is a constant control of the north Di."
Xuanhua ancient city has experienced too many vicissitudes. "Grasping history and relying on the Great Wall" is people's praise for the ancient city. Although the archway of "Gushanggu County" is hard to find now, it is a 10,000-meter wall that stands still.
