The Historical Evolution of Wellington English Middle School
Wellington has classes from 1 grade to grade 7, and the school has a good reputation. /kloc-Wellington Middle School in the 1980s had morning classes and afternoon classes from grade one to grade five. With the establishment of aided secondary schools by the Hong Kong government to attract most outstanding students to leave, Wellington also closed other branch schools. By 1998, Telford Garden Campus in Kowloon Bay was the last one, and the school was reformed again, changing to full-time Secondary One to Secondary Seven level, and offering Secondary Six and Secondary Seven courses again. The campus of this school covers an area of about 36,000 square feet, and only students with HKCEE 4E(4/30) or above will be admitted to Secondary Five.

Later, because the Education Department stipulated that aided secondary schools should have permanent school buildings, but MTRC refused to sell the Telford Garden school building to schools, and because the school spirit was getting worse and worse, the school had to end at 200 1, and Wellington Middle School became the history of Hong Kong. Later, the original site became the school building of the City University of Hong Kong to provide courses for students of Project Springboard.

Nevertheless, the school-running institution, Wellington Educational Institution, established the Wellington Educational Institution, Zhang Peisong Memorial Middle School, in Tseung Kwan O, New Territories to continue its educational mission.
