1927, Zhu jointly established "Xinxin Beef Chicken", which was later changed to "Beef Chicken" and mainly produced "beef jerky". Because the supply of beef was often interrupted, Zhujia turned to produce "braised chicken". The seasoning and packaging were modeled after beef jerky, called "braised tofu", which was popular in Suzhou station and wharf for some time. After the separation of the Zhu brothers, my brother set up the "Old Dried Bean Curd". 1956 and then merged into Pingjiang confectionery food factory, and then merged into Suzhou food factory.

Suzhou Jinjin Food Co., Ltd. was restructured from the former Suzhou Food Factory, mainly producing Suzhou famous specialty "Jinjin" dried bean curd, rose sufu and other products, but its predecessor was the "Laojin beef jerky factory" before liberation, which was founded in the late Qing Dynasty and early Republic of China and has a history of nearly one hundred years.

As a traditional specialty of Suzhou, marinated tofu has been produced and operated by Suzhou Food Factory for many years. Until the early 1990s, when the planned economy era was transformed into the market economy era, a large number of marinated tofu enterprises began to emerge in the market, as many as 15, but only the "Golden Medal" was the most authentic and famous. In the era of market economy, Suzhou Food Factory gradually established a brand, publicized the brand, and developed into a golden bean curd. Later, Suzhou Jinjin Food Co., Ltd. was established and developed one after another.

"Jinjin" food series includes Caizhizhai, Yeshouhe, local products shops, food shopping malls and many tourist attractions shops in urban areas. From 1997, the brand "Jinjin" entered supermarkets and stores in Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai, such as Shanghai Agriculture and Industry, RT Mart, Carrefour, Auchan, China Resources, Hualian and Su Guo, and its sales began to enter a new starting point.

Sweet "golden" dried bean curd, bearing the ancient Suzhou culture-time-honored brand, can always inadvertently evoke many sweet memories of "old Suzhou".
