Liu Rong Temple in Haikuang Temple
One of the four Buddhist jungles in Guangzhou, located on Liu Rong Road, is a famous scenic spot with a long history, rich Buddhist cultural relics and famous at home and abroad. Liu Rong Temple was founded in the third year of Liang Datong (537), originally named Bao Temple, with a history of 1400 years. Destroyed by fire at the beginning of the Northern Song Dynasty, it was rebuilt in the second year of Song Duangong (989) and renamed Jinghui Temple. In the third year of Fu Yuan (1 100), Su Dongpo, a famous writer and calligrapher, visited here. He saw six old banyan trees in the temple and happily wrote the word "six banyan trees", which was later called Liurong Temple. In the Qing Dynasty, the Liurong Pagoda was rebuilt, and the main body was still the same as that of the Song Dynasty, but the glazed tile eaves of each floor were changed to the Qing Dynasty style. The Zhu Lanbiwa and the Dani powder wall in the tower look like a pentium style from a distance. For example, on the Lantern Festival and Mid-Autumn Festival, people taste the flowers hanging on the lighthouse, which are gorgeous and unusual. Therefore, Liu Rongta is also called "Flower Pagoda".

There is a towering stupa in the temple, formerly known as stupa, which is a famous ancient high-rise building in Guangzhou. To the east of the tower are the Mountain Gate, Maitreya Hall, Tianwang Hall and Wei Tuo Hall. Tashi is a magnificent hall dedicated to three giant buddhas made of brass in the second year of Emperor Kangxi of Qing Dynasty (1663). The Buddha statue is the largest existing ancient bronze statue in Guangdong Province.

There is a bronze statue of Huineng, the sixth ancestor of Zen in Rongyin Garden. Six ancestors were outstanding monks in the Tang Dynasty. He learned Buddhism from the five ancestors, and he was tolerant and appreciative. After that, he returned to China to establish Nanzong School. Its bronze statue was cast in the second year of the Northern Song Dynasty (989), with a height of 1 .8m and a weight of about1ton. The appearance of the instrument is solemn and personalized, the eyes are thoughtful and the expression is lifelike. In front of the Sixth Ancestral Temple, banyan trees are green and bodhi dances, and the unique banyan pavilion and the Zheng Shu inscribed by Su Dongpo are hidden among the green trees.
