The ancient water city of China, namely Dongchang Ancient City, also known as Liaocheng Ancient City, covers an area of only 1 km2, but is surrounded by 6.3 km2 of lake water. Its "water is in the city, the city is in the water, the city and the water are integrated and complement each other", and the urban form of the round place is unique in the world.
Liaocheng ancient city divided the urban land into four pieces by using the cross pedestrian street. Cross Street is a commercial pedestrian street with traditional businesses on both sides. Loudong Street focuses on leisure, health care and health preservation; Louxi Street is a fashionable and high-grade commodity street; Loubei Street is a dining street; Lounan Street is a cultural street. The central plot of the urban unit is a amorous residential area, mainly in the form of quadrangles. The street-facing building is used for small businesses with folk characteristics, with shops in front and houses in the back, which is flexible and convenient.
