Are Yiwu and Lincang far away?
Yiwu and Lincang are not far away. Yiwu belongs to Mengla County, Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province. Located in the north of Mengla County, it borders Laos in the east, Menglun Town and Yao Township in Yao District in the south, and Zhengdong Town and Xiangming Yi Township in Hani and Yi Autonomous County of Puer Jiangcheng City in the north. Lincang, called Mianning in ancient times, is a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of Yunnan Province, named after its proximity to Lancang River. So the two places are not far apart.

Distribution of tea areas in Yunnan

There are four major Pu 'er tea producing areas in Yunnan, namely Xishuangbanna tea area, Lincang tea area, Simao tea area and Baoshan tea area. Yiwu Tea Mountain in Yunnan belongs to Xishuangbanna tea area. Yiwu Chashan is located in the east of Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province, and it is 1 10 km away from Jinghong City, the state capital of Xishuangbanna. Historically, it is famous for producing tribute tea of Qing emperors.

Yi Wu Chashan is located in the east of the six major Chashan, near the border between China and Laos, with an area of about 750 square kilometers. It is the largest of the six tea mountains, including Yiwu Zhengshan, Mansha Tea Mountain and Raman Tea Mountain. Because of its large area, some people call Yiwu Tea Mountain Yiwu Tea District. Tea produced in Yunnan is very famous, with a long history, the largest tea output and great room for growth.
