The finless porpoise lives in fresh water, and it is the only subspecies that all live in fresh water. Finless porpoises generally live in tropical to warm temperate waters such as the western Pacific Ocean, the Indian Ocean, the Sea of Japan and China's coastal areas, often living in the waters where fishing lines meet fresh water, and also living in fresh water areas downstream of large and small rivers.

Finless porpoise:

The finless porpoise is commonly known as Jiang in China. There are two species under its animals, namely the Indian Ocean finless porpoise and the narrow-ridged finless porpoise. There are two subspecies of finless porpoise, one is the East Asian finless porpoise, and the other is the Yangtze finless porpoise that we are familiar with. The finless porpoise belongs to mammals. Adult finless porpoises can grow to 1.2- 1.6 meters and weigh 100-220 kg. The whole body is gray-black, the head is short, the forehead is slightly convex, the eyes are small, the tail is flat and there is no dorsal fin.
