China's anti-terrorism special forces (known as the "Oriental Anti-Terrorism Force" (SPC), Special Police of China means Chinese special police. ) was established on July 22, 1982, at that time, it was the 722nd Special Force of the Ministry of Public Security, also known as the anti-hijacking special police force, located near the present Beijing airport, and its main task was to fight against terrorist attacks such as the Munich Olympic Games. At the beginning of the formation, the team members were transferred from the whole army, and the main cadres and officers came from the Airborne Forces 15 Army directly under the headquarters. 1On April 5, 983, with the establishment of the Armed Police Headquarters, this unit was placed under the direct control of the Armed Police Headquarters and renamed as "Special Police Brigade of the Chinese People's Armed Police Force", and later called "Special Police School of the Chinese People's Armed Police Force". 1In August, 1999, the Women's Special Police Team of Sichuan Armed Police Corps moved to Beijing and became the first women's special police combat team of the Armed Police Special Police College.

In May 2000, with the approval of the Central Military Commission, it was officially named "China Special Police" or SPC for short. Within the Armed Police and the Ministry of Public Security, they are nicknamed "food factory (because the pinyin abbreviation of food factory is SPC)".

China People's Liberation Army is a very special force in the development of Chinese armed forces. The establishment of this unit coincided with the honeymoon period between China and western countries, and from the very beginning, it absorbed the advanced theories of anti-terrorism special operations in western countries. At the same level, the German GSG9 special anti-terrorism force was established in 1972, and the American Delta Special Force was established in 1977.
