1. Pingyuan Ancient Town is located in the middle and west of Guizhou Province, south of Bijie City, east of zhijin county, 26.67 degrees north latitude and 105.78 degrees east longitude. Locally, it is adjacent to the peak forest of Wuzhishan in the east, Wang Chi Expressway in the south, Shuangtan in the west and Yushan in the north. The ancient town borders Guiyang in the east, Chengdu in the west, Kunming and Nanning in the south and Chongqing in the north. It is an important node of Guizhou, Yunnan, Sichuan, Chongqing and Guangxi tourist routes, ranking second among the top ten new tourist landmarks in Guizhou Province.

2. The plain ancient town was named "Plain" because it was called Zhijin in ancient times. As a part of Zhijin ancient town, Pingyuan ancient town is seamlessly connected with Zhijin ancient town. Relying on the humanistic history of "keeping the hometown true and weaving gold in the cave", and taking "furong town with lotus leaves and misty rain ancient town" as the cultural orientation, Pingyuan ancient town looks for inspiration in local architectural features, ethnic customs and beautiful waters of Lingshan, and presents it from the perspective of reappearing history and returning to nature.
