Xinjiang Middle School was founded in 1902. Its predecessor was Jiangzhou Middle School, which was rebuilt by Yong Dong Academy in Qing Dynasty. It is one of the earliest middle schools in the province. 19 12 was renamed as Xinjiang County Middle School, 19 18 was renamed as Jiangyuan Middle School, 1944 was renamed as Hedong Daoli Agricultural Vocational School, 1945 was renamed as Xinjiang Middle School in Shanxi Province,/kloc-0. The school site is located in the former site of Gong Yuan Lane, Xinjiang County. Lvliang No.10 Middle School was renamed as Jinsui No.10 Middle School 1949, Shanxi Xinjiang Middle School 1955, Shanxi Xinjiang No.1 Middle School 1959, and Shanxi Yuncheng Xinjiang Middle School.
