The ancient building complex of Suixi Old Street is located on the north side of the west section of Huaihai Road, Suixi County, Huaibei City, Anhui Province. The building complex was built in the eighth year of Yongzheng (1730), with a total length of 650 meters and a width of 5-7 meters. The bluestone slabs are all tiled and staggered, with different specifications. The length from east to west is 0.8m, the width is 0.4-0.5m, the thickness is 0.25-0.3m, and the camber of the curb is 3%. There are pedestrian shoulder stones on both sides of the road for drainage. The eastern end is connected with the west dike of Laosui River. After the founding of the People's Republic of China, the bridge moved northward and connected with Houjie. On both sides of it are buildings from the Qing Dynasty to the Republic of China, with blue bricks and gray tiles and heavy beams. Except for a few houses repaired with modern materials, most of them have kept their original appearance, which provides good physical data for the study of ancient buildings. Shiban Street, an ancient town in Suixi, is a microcosm of the history of Suixi and a witness to the birthplace of Kouzi wine culture, which has important physical value for the study and textual research of local history.
