The scientific name of broom is Kochia scoparia, and its aliases are McGrady, broom, broom seedling, broom, peacock pine and so on. Plantagenet seedlings were born in the wilderness, fields and roadsides, and cultivated in gardens, almost all over the country. It belongs to the genus Panicum, with a height of about 50- 150 cm, erect stems, many branches, light green or reddish leaves, narrow lanceolate or linear lanceolate leaves, 2-7 cm long and 3-7 mm wide, and oblate and dark brown seeds.
