What is the postgraduate entrance examination experience of modern and contemporary literature in China Hunan Normal University?
Hunan Normal University has successfully enrolled modern and contemporary literature in 2022 ~ Looking back on this road, I feel a lot and gain a lot. The following experience is not only a comprehensive summary of the route, but also hopes to give some enlightenment to newcomers, reduce stepping on pits and maximize the efficiency of postgraduate students who are eager to go ashore. I got 436 points in the initial test, 79 points in midterm politics, 80 points in English, 65,438+038 in literary history, and 65,438+039 in literary theory and criticism. I landed successfully with a score that was not very beautiful. Besides luck, I am blessed with hard work.

First, the reasons for choosing a school

First, Hohhot Teachers College is 2 1 1 double-class. Modern and contemporary literature takes a small comprehensive examination (literary history+literary theory), not linguistics. Personally, I am not interested in linguistics.

Second, there are more Hushi Normal University in modern students. Generally, modern and contemporary majors in colleges and universities enroll more than a dozen students at most, while Hu Normal University has always had more students. 2 1 year 26 strokes. Postgraduate entrance examination is moderately difficult.

1. postgraduate English

I started reciting words in April, using Zhu Wei's love and word practice. I watched several video lessons, but I personally suggest that I don't need to watch any video lessons, which wastes time. It is recommended to start reciting words directly and match the word-reciting app.

While reciting words, I began to watch Tang Chi's reading class in May and take notes. Understand the practice and error-prone points of each reading question. After watching the video lesson, you can start reading, and each time you do an article, summarize the new words and the reasons for the mistakes.

About the size of the composition: I started writing at the end of June 165438+. I bought 20 Wang Jiangtao's essays, but I still don't think it suits me. Later, I laughed at the composition class and found it very effective, explaining the logic of writing very well. There will be a list of articles that must be memorized in the big composition. I memorized ten model essays for both large and small compositions, and then memorized them. Starting from the pilot class, I will write a composition according to the course content every day. After the intensive course, I will write a composition every day. The time limit for a big composition is 40 minutes, and that for a small composition is 20 minutes. One composition a day, alternating large and small compositions. If you can, you'd better start practicing calligraphy early. Writing a good composition is very important.

About translation: My translation is poor, probably less than half of the sentences are translated, and there are even fewer accurate sentences, but there are fewer translations. The order of my questions is about four readings, a big composition and a small composition, followed by gestalt and translation. My translation takes less time and my score is not high. However, the best way to train translation is to read more foreign periodicals, especially those frequently selected for postgraduate entrance examination, which is also good for reading, but I can give you limited translation suggestions.

English is a slow but effective subject, so it is very important to keep in touch by memorizing words and reading.

2. Postgraduate Politics

My politics started early. I bought Xiao Xiurong's three-piece suit in June from the summer vacation. Because I have been following Sister Leg's class, I have never listened to other teachers' classes. I have been listening to Sister Leg's class since the intensive class. I think it's good. At the beginning of the summer vacation, I brushed 1000 questions with Xiao Xiurong's book, and brushed a chapter in the last class, all of which were done according to the plan, without listening to extra courses.

By the time all the intensive courses were over, it was already September. 1000 I only did it once from beginning to end, but I did it seriously this time. I changed every question and did it according to my sister's method (keyword rule).

After finishing intensive classes, I began to take skills classes./kloc-I began to listen to skills classes in October. The questions I brushed were some wrong questions in 1000 and real questions over the years, and I didn't do any extra questions. Only in the skills class will I begin to learn how to answer big questions. After each big class, I will brush the real questions of this subject three times and do them by myself, and then explain to my sister's class that I correct my own shortcomings, mainly the shortcomings in answering methods and ideas. The reference answers to real questions and big questions are of little reference value. Just look at the keywords, which are basically languages that students can't organize. The multiple-choice questions in skill category are mainly true questions and wrong questions.

1 1 At the end of the month, Leg Four and Little Eight came out, and I also bought Sister Leg's recitation manual. 1 1 month multiple-choice questions turn to real questions, legs four, small eight. You must do the problem according to the method. Blindly brushing questions is a waste of time. At this time, the question 1000 can be basically ignored. 1 1 Month and Sister Leg start punching in class and read the recitation manual repeatedly. Before formally reciting the big questions in the manual, I read the basic knowledge four or five times from beginning to end, especially the wrong knowledge points, and marked them with a highlighter for convenience. I only really simulated the first set of the eight major questions. The big question behind is to write down the knowledge points and look at the answers. Just step on the key words. 1 1 month later, start reciting the basic knowledge of big questions, especially the philosophy part, just follow Sister Leg.

/kloc-I started to do all kinds of simulation questions in October/February. I memorized the big questions of Sister Leg (the top ten questions in the class) and Xiao Si, bought a small program to brush multiple-choice questions, repeated the multiple-choice questions of Leg 4 and Grade 8, and read the knowledge points by memorizing the manual. I recited the manual of reciting big questions for three times, the materials of reciting by Sister Leg for three times, and the four big questions of Xiao without ten questions for two times. When I arrived at the examination room, I found that my leg sister's bet was really good, and the big questions were not difficult to answer.

Suggestions on political review for postgraduate entrance examination:

Remember not to combine the answers of two teachers when reciting big questions. You can recite two answers, but don't mix them. When doing the purpose of the topic, you must do it purposefully, knowing what the knowledge points of the topic test are, and reviewing the knowledge points will be more efficient; Don't do all the simulation questions completely, some can only write knowledge points and simulate three sets completely. Try to cooperate with the examination time, and try to learn and recite political content from 8 am to 1 1.

Generally speaking, there is no need to be impatient in political review. If you follow the plan step by step, your efforts will surely pay off. Basic knowledge is very important, and basic knowledge is as important as current events. The focus of pre-study is to consolidate the basic knowledge, and then review current events.

Literary Theory and Literary Criticism (7 12): 139

7 12 is divided into two parts: literary theory and literary criticism. The part of literary theory accounts for 100, which is all in the textbook of Normal University. This 100 point must be as familiar as possible. I started in May. At that time, I spent a month carefully reading the whole book "Principles of Literature" and marked the real questions in the book. The proportion of real questions is still very large.

At the end of June, internship in July and August, there was no time to read literary principles, and literary principles were put on hold. It was not until I went back to school in September that I began to recite Principles of Literature. It took 17 days to recite the understanding. I have learned a lot about this year's exam when I was an undergraduate. When I take western literary theory as an elective course, I am also familiar with many literary principles, such as Jung's prototype theory, the social function of literature, critical realism and so on. I memorized it all during the final exam, so I will remember it clearly.

At the beginning of the third time, you can endorse the framework and recall what is the biggest content of this unit, what is the biggest keyword, and how many times you have taken the exam over the years. However, normal university has been adding many new questions in recent years, which have not been tested before or rarely, such as noun explanation: critical realism and so on. If you have taken a similar test center, such as this year's critical realism, you may take the socialist realism exam next year, and this kind of similar test center needs to be emphasized. There are also some special terms, such as "McDonald's literature", "line drawing" and "Horace", which need attention. Literary principles don't need to be memorized word by word, but you need to understand and memorize the key contents. It's best to write in dictation and write more sheets of paper, which will make you more impressed. Every time I recite a unit, I will memorize the exam questions to deepen my impression, especially on the big questions. As for the principle of literature, I was very happy as soon as I opened the paper. All of them have been read and recited, and some of them were not in the previous examination questions. I also recited them during the first and second careful investigations, so I can write them down.

The relative accumulation of literary criticism, accounting for 50 points, is the most important aspect of widening the gap. I wrote several literary reviews before the exam. Because we studied the writing of literary criticism during our undergraduate period, we focused on narratology in class, mostly British and American new criticism and Russian formalism criticism. My graduation thesis and academic thesis are also about narratology, so when I was writing literary criticism, I also wrote it according to Hu Yamin's narratology. Before preparing to write literary criticism, I read Hu Yamin's Narratology twice, once for all the contents and once for the principles that are easy to master and apply.

At the end of 10, I began to read the model essays of literary criticism, read a lot of commentary articles, consulted many students who participated in our school's writing competition, read some of their comments, and recommended some classic reference books to me, asking them to help me revise my comments, which was quite rewarding. In addition to some critical theoretical works, you can also read some classic comments, such as Liu Lili's Text Analysis of Modern Classic Short Stories in China, which is also highly recommended, which can broaden the thinking path and make the comments more innovative. In fact, the scope of literary criticism is very wide, and we can refer to various literary theories at home and abroad, but the key is that the incision must be small and the thinking must be clear. Not to mention building a tall building, not to mention creating your own theory. If we can recite the original words of literary theory, we can recite more original words of literary criticism principles. Coincidentally, when I was practicing writing, I wrote a review article about the seniors' information. It was Borges' The Man on the Rose Corner, and the exam was just Borges' circular ruins. Really lucky, it is very helpful for the writing of the exam! You can read more classic articles by famous western and Latin American writers, such as Kafka's Castle and Borges's Garden with Bifurcated Paths. In the exam, because most real questions can be combined with the back when reciting literary principles, such as Kafka when reciting expressionism, Sartre's existentialism when reciting existentialism, and so on. , are interlinked, together can improve the efficiency of review. If you have the conditions, you can choose one or two for professional teachers to see. Teachers' comments will be much more professional and more effective for improving your writing ability.

Literary History (829): 138

The history of literature is the longest and more divided. I started reading literature history textbooks during the winter vacation. During the winter vacation, I carefully read the first literary history and made more detailed notes. But since the second book, I think it's a waste of time to take notes like me, so I simply turned over the history of contemporary literature without taking handwritten notes too seriously. It's almost May after reading both books, and then I went to the final and internship. Because I studied literature in the new period at the end of my junior year, the teachers in undergraduate schools have strict requirements on reading works, so I will read many representative works. I read most classic novellas in the new period in my junior year, which lightened the burden for the later reading tasks.

From June to August, I carefully read Selected Works of Normal University, especially poems and essays. Because I didn't read much when I was an undergraduate, I read three books, namely Guo Moruo's poems and Feng Zhi's sonnets, and I also read some works of real test before. Although I don't remember much, I have a deeper understanding of the writing styles of important writers.

It was September when I returned to school. At this time, I began to recite according to the recitation materials compiled by my senior sister. The history of modern literature has been recited for more than a month, which is very slow and difficult. I learned most of them in my freshman year. I really don't remember anything, so I recited it slowly and carefully. However, contemporary literature is memorized relatively quickly, because it took only half a month just after the junior year exam, and all the necessary questions were memorized according to the real questions. I recited it carefully for the first time, which was also the most difficult one. The second time I focused on reciting the real questions, especially I took a lot of tests, such as female literature in the new period, new historicism writing, new realism, magical realism, family narrative, ecological literature and so on. These are all hot spots over the years, so I will focus on reciting them. Later, I recited the real questions directly with the concise version of my sister's information, three or four times, and recited 3-4 hours of literature and history every day.

Generally speaking, it has been 1 1 month since I recited it for the second time. The progress of literary history is much slower than that of literary principles, and it will be faster when I recite it for the third time. 1 1 month recited the real title of literary history again, and recited it over and over again, so I was already familiar with the real title. Secondly, in 1 1 month, you can see all the important professors' papers, especially those on important topics, as well as the papers published by professors in core journals and master's and doctoral dissertations, which are available in official website and HowNet. However, Normal University also has regular hot spots, such as Border Town, feminist literature in the new period, left-wing literature and ecological literature by Professor Shen Congwen and Professor Zhao. These are the regular hot spots of Hu Normal University, and the relevant papers of these professors must be read, because the discussion questions account for a very large proportion in the exam. For example, this year's discussion topics can be found in the papers of Shen Congwen and Professor Zhao. If you can answer new related questions, you are likely to ask them.

Because this year's noun explanation question is relatively remote, everyone will find it difficult, but in fact, the discussion and short answer are relatively simple. Take this year's exam questions about noun interpretation, such as Diary of a Ghost Earth, Xiang Peiliang and Hu Eliminating Evil, which are relatively remote. For me, Xiang Peiliang has been seen in the first few pages of the book. In his early days, he had close contacts with Lu Xun and was the main force of the absenteeism meeting. He is also a writer from Hunan province, and he is a familiar noun explanation. He tried to write it, but it was not comprehensive. As for the character Hu Qu Evil, Shi Tuo's representative works include Marriage and Orchard City. The teacher told us that I had seen it in my sophomore year, so I was deeply impressed by the protagonist and was surprised when I saw it. Diary of Ghost Earth is based entirely on impressions. I remember the teacher talked about Zhang Tianyi's content and satirical novels before. There is always no mistake in writing such keywords. No, no one can. However, there are also some topics that everyone thinks are more difficult, such as "the spirit of cleanliness", which is actually relatively simple. There are special topics in the book, and even prose works discussing the vortex center since the new period. This is what we must know. Except for the explanation of nouns, other topics are in the book and can be memorized.

Generally speaking, literary history requires reading works. Textbooks are important, but works are also important. At the same time, reading classic papers is also very important, which will provide you with many ways to learn and review. For example, if you look at the schools of modern literature, how do you answer the questions and remember them clearly? The undergraduate teacher introduced me to many related papers. You can look at Yang Yi's The Methods of School Research and Its Contemporary Value, which can provide you with a simple idea of school recitation. For example, Yao Yao wrote about the historical relationship between modern literature and classical literature in China, an important feature of Lu Xun's thought-sober realism, and so on. Important papers are very helpful for the endorsement and understanding of writers' works.

It is not recommended that you buy a pile of materials directly, because there are so many things that the Chinese department needs to read. If no one tells you how to use these materials, how to read textbooks, how to answer questions, how to find key points, how to memorize knowledge points, how to analyze real questions, what's important and what's not, how to take notes, what to do with questions that you can't do, etc., it will be difficult for you to review effectively. Simple information is meaningless. Hundreds of thousands of words and piles of things are thrown at you, and you can't feel anything but discomfort.

At this point, I think it's time to draw a full stop. For a lucky person who is not dazzling, mentality, persistence and hard work are indispensable. It is his luck to be on the shore of Normal University. I am also very lucky to be able to inspire others with my experience. I feel very honored. May all graduate students be faithful wives.
