Why did Zhu Qiyu, Emperor Taizong of Ming Dynasty, die at the age of 30?
Let me talk about my personal opinion.

Under the leadership of Ming Daizong and Zhu Qiyu, the Ming Dynasty, which had just experienced the "Civil Fort Change", turned the corner and avoided repeating the mistakes of the Northern Song Dynasty. However, although Zhu Qiyu saved the Ming Dynasty, his ending was not happy, and he died before he was thirty. After his death, he was not buried in the Ming royal cemetery: Tianshou Mountain (now the Ming Tombs).

This is because it has a lot to do with the throne. Therefore, there are several reasons for his untimely death:

First of all, Zhu Qiyu had no children and could not inherit the throne. He was very anxious in the later period of his rule.

Historically, after the "Civil Fort Change", in order to save the crisis of the Ming Dynasty, Zhu Qiyu was proclaimed emperor by many ministers. During this period, the Ming Dynasty faced the crisis of collapse. In the face of the practice that Empress Sun confers titles and Ming Yingzong's eldest son is the Crown Prince, she chose the default. After all, maybe you have to bear the title of the king of subjugation, and your throne is in jeopardy. You really don't have the energy to pester the Crown Prince.

However, as the Ming Dynasty turned the corner, Zhu Qiyu, who was firmly in the throne, began to try his best to replace the prince and help his eldest son Zhu Jianji to take the upper position. Finally, the action was completed by bribing the minister. Originally, things have been satisfactory so far, but Zhu Jianji died in less than a year, and Zhu Qiyu had no children to inherit the throne. Although he is still very young, he hasn't had children for several years, which makes Zhu Qiyu very anxious.

At the same time, courtiers who had opinions about Yi Chu began to talk about it in succession, which dealt another blow to Ming Daizong, who had already suffered the loss of his son. One by one, let Zhu Qiyu frustrated.

Secondly, Ming Yingzong Zhu Qizhen's fear made Zhu Qiyu uneasy.

Although, after the "Civil Fort Change", Ming Yingzong was captured and had to go to the north to eat sand with the leader of Walla. It is said that Zhu Qiyu succeeded to the throne and was honored as the emperor's father. Zhu Qizhen's only hope is to return to his hometown. For this reason, I wrote to my brother and Ming Daizong, and I would like to be an ordinary person, even if I am guarding my ancestral grave, as long as I can go back!

Of course, Zhu Qiyu, who had already secured the throne, turned a blind eye to this and even refused to reply to the proposal of sending him back to Ming Yingzong first. However, only one year later, he accepted the advice of the envoys of the Ming Dynasty and voluntarily sent Yingzong back. Out of pity for himself, Zhu Qiyu immediately chose to imprison Ming Yingzong in the Nangong and persecuted him many times.

However, with the death of Zhu Jianji, Emperor Taizong of the Ming Dynasty sadly found that the mercy seat was likely to return to Zhu Qizhen's hands. Looking back on what he did, it is hard to get Ming Yingzong's forgiveness, which leads to great pressure in Ming Daizong's life.

Finally, the heavy state affairs overwhelmed Zhu Qiyu's health.

In our impression, the emperor was in charge of the whole dynasty, and God was the eldest brother. No one dared to resist his consciousness. But the supremacy of imperial power means that the master is always threatened by people around him, which is why it has been difficult to be a prince since ancient times. In essence, the emperor can't even trust the prince he chooses.

In addition, with the founding emperor Zhu Yuanzhang of the Ming Dynasty further strengthening his imperial power, all world events were approved by the emperor. This caused the emperor's workload to be extremely heavy. Although the cabinet appeared in the Ming Dynasty to share the workload of the emperor, the emperor must always pay attention to the practices of ministers. Otherwise, God knows that day, the knife was around his neck.

Therefore, the long-term and huge work pressure will inevitably crush Ming Daizong's body.

To sum up, during Zhu Qiyu's eight years in power, mental anxiety, anxiety in life and great pressure at work made it difficult for him to live long.
