Essay on Visiting Liang Qing Ancient Temple
1, there is no reason to pay attention to diseases.

Some people say that one hundred years of development depends on the depth, one thousand years of civilization depends on Beijing, three thousand years of civilization depends on Xi 'an, and five thousand years of civilization depends on Hedong. It is also said that Ruicheng County is the real thing that makes Hedong famous in the world.

Whether this statement is valid or not, in 2006, Yuncheng won the award of "Top Ten Charming Cities" selected by CCTV, including the words "Roots of China, Honest State, Universiade City". It can be seen that this statement is true. Hedong is the earliest place called China. Ruicheng County is a cultural relic county in Shanxi, with 48 key cultural relics protection units, including four or five national protection units.

When people mention Ruicheng, the first thing that comes to mind is Yongle Palace. Yongle pure sun, Taoist immortals paint the world boast! This Taoist temple, which has been eroded by wind and rain and moved to another place, has attracted more and more artists and art lovers to "make a pilgrimage" because of its exquisite mural treasures in the Yuan Dynasty. The annual Ruicheng Yongle Palace International Culture and Art Festival has been held for eight times so far, which makes the beautiful business card of Yongle Palace spread more widely and further.

Compared with Yongle Palace, Liang Qing Temple is more like a "small jasper" hidden in the boudoir, waiting for people who know the goods to unveil its mysterious veil and see her beauty.

Actually, I came across the name "she" last year.

From 2065438 to September 2004, I worked as an intern in Ruicheng Beiguan Primary School for three months. One day, I took a taxi to visit the local Wulong Temple. The driver said there was another place more famous than Wulong Temple. I quickly asked where it was. He proudly said, Liang Qing Temple! It is a national protected unit, and even archaeologists and historians from Shaanxi across the Yellow River have visited it. However, due to the tight internship time, many local cultural relics and historical sites, and my lack of money, I was not able to see her "beauty" until the end of my internship in March. This has become a regret and a heart disease left by me during my internship in Ruicheng.

Heart disease still needs heart medicine. In order to make up for this regret, in September this year, I made an appointment with a good friend to visit Liang Qing Temple in Ruicheng.

2. Treasure hidden in barren hills and mountains

Due to Ruicheng's profound history and culture and numerous cultural relics, many foreign scholars and ancient tourists came to visit. However, these cultural relics seem to like quiet, and most of them are "secluded" in the deep mountains and forests. Foreign tourists don't say that they don't know the specific location of the site. Even if there is, there is no through train. This provides a unique business opportunity for local taxi drivers. They give full play to the local "omniscient" advantage. As long as you can name the local scenic spots, he will enthusiastically lead you through the streets, bypass the alleys, climb the mountains and drill through the deep forests, and will try his best to satisfy your desire to visit ancient times and explore secluded places until you reach your destination. Of course, my brother's fee is not low.

These are all in my expectation. But I can't bear to see the scenery in my heart. In order to give up my wish and see the beauty of Liang Qing Temple, I decided to spend some money.

After many twists and turns, the taxi finally stopped in front of a small, even humble ancient temple.

Is this the legendary Royal Temple-Liang Qing Temple?

If I hadn't come here in person, I would never have thought that this Liangqing Temple, which is very favored by the archaeological community, is famous for its prehistoric civilization and full of historical and cultural atmosphere, is so dusty and desolate in the depths of this barren mountain! Perhaps this is the old saying that "there are handsome birds in the mountains and heavy fish in the streams".

This Liang Qing Temple was built in the Yuan Dynasty, which was valued by the imperial courts. It was expanded and repaired in the Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties. With the passage of time, years of erosion and vicissitudes, the magnificent scenery of the ancient temple has passed away that day, and the majestic "facades" have disappeared. There is only one sign "Liang Qing Temple Cultural Relics Management Office", which has always proved that the cultural relics of this temple are "valuable".

Stepping into the courtyard, cypress trees are towering, bones are scattered, the ground is blue bricks, and moss marks are green. In the middle of the aisle stood a modern imitation nine-day incense burner, with purple smoke curling and misty. The bamboo rafts on both sides of the aisle are dense and swaying in the wind, hiding the temple pavilion at the end of the aisle in the depths. It is really a true portrayal of "bamboo trails are secluded, leafy and Buddhist retreat". The quietness and emptiness of Buddhist holy places make people feel awe.

There is only one main building in the temple-the Great Hall of Heroes, which is the charm of Liang Qing Temple.

Built during the reign of Yuan Dade, the main hall is five rooms wide and three rooms deep. It is located on the high steps, with extraordinary momentum and grandeur. The platform in front of the temple is spacious, and the plaque of the temple door is vicissitudes. The roof of the temple is covered with tiles, and the main ridge flies into bliss. Lotus flowers on both sides of the roof preach Buddhism. The temple is hung on the top of the mountain with a single eaves, and its shape is magnificent. The structure of the bucket arch is complicated, and the beam frame is bold and unrestrained, which is quite distinctive.

In order to expand the practical area of the hall, the builder adopted the method of "reducing columns", and the large climbing beam was directly supported under the flat beam from the rear end of the front eaves bucket arch, thus reducing the net span load of the beam. It is said that the architectural style of the temple is a great innovation in the architectural structure of the Yuan Dynasty, and it is a precious object to study the architectural form of the Yuan Dynasty.

The original three giant buddhas in the temple were destroyed by years of vicissitudes and wars, and now they are restored and rebuilt by future generations. "Bodhi has no trees, and the mirror does not stand. There is nothing, so there is no dust. " Although the Buddha statue was shaped by later generations, as long as there is a Buddha in the heart, then the heart is sincere and spiritual. Therefore, although the incense burner in the main hall is not very strong, it has never stopped.

There are several stone tablets of different ages on both sides of the platform of the main hall, especially the right wall of the main hall, which was rebuilt during the Kangxi period of the Qing Dynasty. Although the weathering is serious and the handwriting is blurred, as long as you carefully identify it, you can still understand the past lives of Liang Qing Temple ...

3. The ancient temple is as leisurely as Taoyuan.

It is said that the Liang Qing Temple in history was much more lively than it is now.

Since the establishment of the Yuan Dynasty, Liang Qing Temple has been attached great importance by the royal families of past dynasties. According to historical records, during the Wu Shen period of the Yuan Dynasty, there was a military commander who was pampered and always bossed around. On one occasion, the "military master" went to Liang Qing Temple, plundered the treasures of the temple, robbed the monks of their property and harassed them. Afterwards, the abbot of the temple rushed to the court to complain. The emperor learned that Yan Long was furious and ordered on the spot that hell to pay. Since then, no one dares to harass Liang Qing Temple.

At that time, every year on the fifteenth day of the seventh lunar month, a temple fair was held here, and good men and women from big cities and small villages would get together to worship Liang Qing Temple. At that time, the temple will be filled with incense, bells will ring, crowds will surge, and people will jostle each other. Merchants will naturally not miss such a good business. At the temple fair, all kinds of snacks, such as bean jelly, twist, and fermented glutinous rice, were filled with dazzling things on the roadside, and the cries of hawking came and went, and they were full of praise. There are even invited troupes singing loudly on the stage, and the sound of gongs, drums and strings resounds throughout the country. This scene, like the Lantern Festival on New Year's Eve, is more prosperous than gathering. Qingshan is far away, fertile land is beautiful, and people are happy. What a beautiful and harmonious picture of the Taiping Year!

Walking out of the temple, I saw bamboo forests all around, the sky was shaded by green trees, birds were singing and flowers were fragrant. Even more, the spring water of Gongshui River gurgled, split in two from the back of the temple, flowed around the temple, met in front of the mountain and rushed down the mountain happily. It's a treasure trove.

Looking around, the courtyards around the temple are uneven and caves are scattered all over the place. At first glance, jujube hill, Gansu has steep peaks, deep ravines, light haze, quiet and deep terraced fields and fruit forests. The whole temple and mountain village reflect each other and blend into one. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city, it maintains a quaint, quiet, elegant and poetic pastoral scenery. It is really a realistic version of "building a house in a human environment, but I am bustling with cars and horses", which is the best place for meditation and leisure.

You see, the halls here are majestic, the bells are long, the bamboo forests are gloomy, the streams are gurgling, the farmhouses are quaint and sturdy, the smoke is curling, and the fields are full of green, with fruitful results. Tourists from all over the world will be intoxicated when they come here. They embrace green mountains and green waters, breathe fresh air, eat natural and original seasonal vegetables and fruits, drink natural and impurity-free mountain springs, taste farmhouse meals with Jinnan flavor, watch children frolicking on hillsides and lovers strolling in bamboo forests. How comfortable!

It is difficult to find a cool grave.

At present, the abbot of Liang Qing Temple is a nun, about 50 years old, wearing a Tsing Yi hat and looking solemn. According to her brother, she has been practicing in Liang Qing Temple for more than ten years. On the one hand, she insisted on becoming a monk and devoted herself to practicing in Brahma; On the other hand, she silently guarded the Liangqing Temple and tried her best to protect it from man-made destruction. The driver also said that Liang Qing Temple is the most famous prehistoric tomb group, and its discovery once caused a sensation in the domestic archaeological community.

Ah! There are prehistoric tombs in this small place? Driven by curiosity, I couldn't wait to ask the nun about the location of prehistoric tombs. Originally, she had a solemn face, but now she has become particularly alert, looking at her nose and heart, and only reading Amitabha. After my kind explanation and repeated pleasantries, the nun reluctantly pointed out a general direction and stressed that there is nothing to see there now, just like ordinary fields.

Prehistoric tombs are nearby, how can we give up the opportunity to visit them? We quickly pulled our younger brother out of the temple gate and walked in the direction of the nun. Brother said with a wry smile, you shouldn't have asked so many questions just now. I looked blank and listened to the driver's words before I understood why the nun was wary of me.

Because the tomb of Liang Qing Temple is very famous, more people come to visit and inspect it, but it also attracts some grave robbers with ulterior motives. At first, the people in the mountain were kind and simple, and warmly welcomed the guests outside the mountain, knowing everything and saying everything. It was not until the local police station caught a group of grave robbers here that the villagers realized that this barren land under their feet was actually a treasure. In order to prevent being fooled again, everyone was particularly vigilant and kept silent when asking unknown visitors about the topic of the ancient tomb.

Oh, I see! After understanding the reason, instead of being angry with the nun, I admire her dedication even more.

Because the nun master didn't provide accurate directions, we wandered around the hillside for a long time and found nothing. My brother pointed to a wheat field under the hillside and said, it should be there. He set an example by saying that from the perspective of geomantic omen, sitting here facing south and facing the mountains and rivers is the most ideal burial place.

Isn't that just an ordinary wheat field? How can it be associated with prehistoric tombs? But I'm not reconciled. I want to keep looking for clues about prehistoric tombs. I tried to use the mobile phone network to search, but the signal on the mountain was poor and I couldn't surf the Internet smoothly. Seeing my lost face, my brother patted me on the shoulder and said, it is better to listen to music than to see the scenery, and it is better to miss it when we meet. Sometimes, something looks more beautiful through the veil, but it is always there. I know the driver doesn't want to delay the business blindly, so I'm in a hurry to return it. More importantly, looking for an ancient tomb is really looking for a needle in a haystack. Even if it is found, it has no practical significance. You can't dig, you can't dig, and you still face a wheat field that can't talk.

Although the driver's words have some utilitarian elements, they also contain some philosophy of life. Yes! In our life, we envy what others have but we don't have, and think it is infinitely beautiful and precious. But when you really get it, we often feel that it is so much. Over time, we turn a blind eye and don't cherish it.

At the urging of my brother, I came to my senses, looked at this wheat field, recorded this place called the tomb group with my mobile phone camera, and left in a hurry with nostalgia.

5. The vicissitudes of the ancient tomb finally appeared.

After returning home, I still can't forget the prehistoric tombs of Liang Qing Temple. If you can't find it in reality, then go online to find "mom".

Science and technology are the primary productive forces, and the Internet is an encyclopedia, which is by no means empty talk. No, I clicked the mouse and it solved the mystery in my heart. I finally tasted the vicissitudes and glory of excavating the prehistoric tombs of Liang Qing Temple.

That was in the last century.

1955, when the archaeological team of the Yellow River Reservoir came to Ruicheng, they found that the ancient relics here were very rich, but for various reasons, they left in a hurry without careful investigation. I think they may be sorry now, because they passed by a major archaeological discovery.

When a local farmer in Sixia Village dug a hole in the cliff east of Liang Qing Temple, he dug out a bone. Despite their taboos, they dug the cave. One day, a dozen smooth stones fell from the top of the kiln. The whole family thinks it looks good as an ornament, and the children also play with some small marbles. Later, after hearing about it, the county cultural relics department quickly came to Sixia Village and told the villagers to donate what they had excavated to the county museum. According to experts' research, it is a jade article from the Western Zhou Dynasty. Western Zhou jade found in Sixia village! At that time, the news spread all over the county and alarmed the national and provincial archaeological circles.

1984 In the autumn, it rained continuously, and the cave of the villagers' house suddenly collapsed. Fortunately, there were no casualties. "A blessing in disguise is a blessing in disguise." While cleaning up the ruins, the villager found dozens of jade articles of different sizes. People in the village say that this house is a treasure trove of geomantic omen, and babies often fall from the sky. Not long after, a group of people calling themselves the archaeological team came to the village. They not only buy jade articles found by villagers, but also hire villagers to dig in the terraced fields near Liang Qing Temple at the price of 300 yuan per cubic meter. Sure enough, they dug some jade and ran away. A year later, the gang was all captured by the police. The villagers knew that they had been cheated. The gang are grave robbers in the cloak of "archaeological team". Although all the grave robbers were arrested, only 64 of the hundreds of precious cultural relics lost were recovered, and the whereabouts of the rest were unknown.

In the spring of 2003, the Shaanxi Provincial Archaeological Team came to Ruicheng to conduct a rescue excavation of the ancient tomb of Liang Qing Temple and study the ancient civilization of Ruicheng. However, the expedition was not welcomed and cooperated by the villagers, and even rejected. The villagers refused to trust the "archaeologist" because of the lesson that the ancient tomb was stolen. After many explanations, we finally got the support of the villagers.

Just as everyone was digging in full swing, SARS spread relentlessly and archaeological work had to be suspended. When the SARS epidemic was eliminated, archaeologists couldn't wait to get into work.

Winter on the banks of the Yellow River is colder than anywhere else. It is no exaggeration to say that the wind is biting and freezing three feet. Standing in the village, you are shivering with cold, let alone digging in the ground. Summer is even more unbearable, not only the high temperature, but also the sudden attack of flies and mosquitoes. In this difficult working environment, archaeologists braved the cold, heat and mosquitoes, and finally completed the archaeological excavation of Liang Qing Temple tombs at the end of 2004.

Archaeologists spent a year excavating more than 100 cemeteries near Liang Qing Temple, and found more than 200 jades buried with them, which is rare in China. This scientific research is of great value for understanding the ancient civilization of Hedong, the culture and etiquette of the Western Zhou Dynasty and our ancestors in detail. The excavation of Liang Qing Temple tombs was also rated as one of the top ten archaeological wonders in 2003-2004. It can really be described as "sleeping for a thousand years, waking up, shocking."

According to experts' analysis and research, the tomb area of Liang Qing Temple should be very large. Archaeologists may have only found the tip of the iceberg, and there are more tombs hidden underground. Although the mystery of the ancient tomb has opened a corner, it still leaves many unsolved mysteries. For example, why are there so many graves here? Why did the ancestors choose to be buried here and arrange them so neatly? For example, why are living people buried? Wait a minute. I think that one day, with the progress of the times, the development of science and technology and the unremitting exploration of archaeologists, these mysteries will be solved one by one.

History is very interesting, and a small action will be tossed for a lifetime. However, human civilization is advancing through constant exploration, isn't it?

6. Only the kerb passes lightly.

This should be the end of the article, but I think it seems more perfect to add the following words.

Later, my friends and I searched and compared online, and finally confirmed that the wheat field I saw in Liang Qing Temple in Ruicheng was indeed the place where prehistoric tombs were found.

What a surprise! I thought I couldn't see the fate, but I didn't think that I was only in this mountain. It's a pity that I didn't stay there for a while, fully feel the heavy historical civilization, experience the long history and culture, and bathe in the sacred treasure land.

Of course, none of this matters anymore. Because Ruicheng has a long history and heavy accumulation, it is possible to find historical sites if you step on it anywhere. As a non-professional archaeologist, if you ask around about graves, you may really be considered a grave robber. Therefore, it is enough to be awed and grateful for the ancient land of Hedong.

In my life, many people don't understand some of my actions, thinking that I went to those places all the way, dusty and exhausted, and took some broken photos when I came back! Isn't this full? However, I feel that I have been exploring the footprints of ancient civilization all the way, feeling the charm of history and culture, talking with the ancients, drawing rich nutrients and constantly improving my knowledge. Why not?

If a person stays in a place for a long time, but he doesn't understand the history and culture here, it's like not knowing where he came from and where he is going. Every day, he "goes up the mountain and crosses the river in a daze". I don't want to be such a person without soul, thought, pursuit and interest. I am not an archaeologist, but I am keen on investigating cultural relics and studying historical sites. Although I am very tired, I am very happy. Everything is temperament, rising and moving.

Do not pretend to force, do not change interest, like not to explain!
