Cerave retinol essence and isdinVC ampoule (as shown below) are not recommended to be used at the same time. Retinol contained in retinol essence is a derivative of alcohol A, and its chemical properties are similar to those of alcohol A. Therefore, when retinol meets vitamin C in isdinvc ampoules, it will lose its activity, double the previous irritation, destroy the pH value of the skin, and may cause serious damage to the skin.
