In A.D. 1335, the Yuan Dynasty set up the "Inspection Department" in Penghu to manage the civil affairs of Taiwan Province Province and Penghu, and China set up a special political organ in Taiwan Province Province.

1684, the Qing government established the Taiwan Province government, which was subordinate to Fujian province.

From 65438 to 0885, the Qing government formally established a province in Taiwan Province Province.
