Zhijiang surrender refers to the ceremony of the end of Japan's war of aggression against China during World War II. The time is 4: 00 p.m. on August 26th, February 1, and it is called "Zhijiang Surrender" because it is located at Moxikou, Qiliqiao Village, east of Zhijiang County, Hunan Province. Zhijiang, an unknown place, was chosen to surrender mainly because Zhijiang has a large military airport. Takeo Imai, deputy chief of staff of the Japanese invaders, is here to negotiate with the leaders of the Japanese army and sign a memorandum of surrender. It marks the end of Japan's war of aggression against China and Japan's unconditional surrender.
