Chengdu High-tech Industrial Development Zone, referred to as Chengdu High-tech Zone for short, consists of Chengdu High-tech South Zone and Chengdu High-tech West Zone. Chengdu High-tech Zone implements the management system of co-construction of provinces and cities and leading by cities. It is directly under the jurisdiction of Chengdu and does not belong to the national legal administrative division. Chengdu High-tech Zone belongs to the central city of Chengdu.

Tianfu New District is a state-level new district under the jurisdiction of Sichuan Province, which consists of Chengdu District of Tianfu New District and Meishan District of Tianfu New District, with a planned total area of 1578 square kilometers. Among them, the Chengdu area of Tianfu New District includes all areas of Chengdu directly under the jurisdiction of Tianfu New District and some areas of Chengdu High-tech Zone, Shuangliu District, Longquanyi District, Xinjin District and jianyang city. 201410 On February 2nd, Sichuan Tianfu New District was officially approved as the 1 1 national new district in China.

In 2020, Sichuan Tianfu New District will achieve a regional GDP of 35,665,438+billion yuan, an increase of 6.7%, ranking fifth in the national new district. Tianfu New District strives to build a park city that fully practices the new development concept.
