The history of Fengjie in Bai Di
At the end of the Western Han Dynasty, Gongsun Shu built a city on the mountain according to Shu. Because a well in the city often emits white gas, just like a white dragon, he took this opportunity to call himself Bai Di and named the city Bai Di City. After Gongsun Shu's death, the local people built a temple on the mountain and erected a statue of Gongsun Shu, called Bai Di Temple. Because Gongsun Shu was deviant, he was arrogantly called. In the seventh year of the Ming Dynasty (15 12), the governor of Sichuan destroyed the statue of Gongsun Shu and dedicated it to the gods of Jiang and Tu, and renamed it "Three Temples". In the 12th year of Jiajing in Ming Dynasty (1533), the statue of Zhuge Liang of Liu Bei was renamed "Hall of Justice". Later, the statues of Guan Yu and Zhang Fei were added, forming a pattern that there was no white emperor in the temple, but the characters of Shu and Han were worshipped for a long time. Baidicheng is surrounded by water on three sides and mountains on one side. It is lonely and the weather is bleak. It is particularly beautiful in the majestic and steep Kuimen landscape. From the foot of the mountain, you have to climb nearly 1000 stone steps to reach the gate of Bai Di Temple at the top of the mountain. You can see the majestic momentum of Kuimen here. Behind the temple, you can see the winding and beautiful Caotang River flowing into the river from Baiti Mountain.
