How to Evaluate "Wide Li Kuan" in Jinan's Newly-built Retro Block
Jinan is a water town in the south of the Yangtze River. I remember that the writer Lao She described Jinan in detail several times: "Suppose you fantasize about a medieval ancient city, a sleeping tower, a narrow ancient stone road, a generous stone wall, a clear stream flowing around the city, reflecting the mountain shadows, and a little girl with a red robe and green pants squatting on the shore. If your fantasy is such a realm, it is a Jinan. "

Jinan is undoubtedly a city with profound cultural heritage, but with the rapid development of the city, modern elements are integrated into this ancient city, and there are fewer and fewer old streets and lanes, and Jinan seems to have gradually lost its own "characteristics". The reconstruction of Dafang Lane has added a quaint, elegant and antique Dafang Lane to the old Jinan people, and put the nostalgic complex of the old Jinan people in place.

Strolling in the lively and generous rooms, retro and elegant buildings, such as woven locals and foreign tourists, are dazzling under the guise of Huang Cancan in front of rows of shops. In a trance, the long-lost street flooded into my memory again. Kuankuanli was built in the former Jiefangge area, on the street of Kuankuansuo in Jinan Old Street.

The name Kuankuanli comes from Kuankuansuo Street on the original site, which starts from the south of Lishengshan Street in the east and ends at Jing Shun Street in the west. Before the early 1950s, the north bank of the south moat used to be a tall wall, and there were two streets parallel to the wall on the north side of the wall. The east of the south gate is called Nanma Road, which used to be a path for riding a horse to climb the tower. The west section is called Nanchenggen Street. In the early 1950s, the city wall was demolished, and these two streets became part of the ring road (Black Tiger Spring West Road).

How did Kuansuo Street get its name?

Legend has it that in the early Qing Dynasty, Li Kuan was originally a gathering place for dignitaries. Because it was very popular at that time to expand the house to show the style, two famous people lived across the hall, constantly expanding the courtyard to the road, and both wanted to enclose the limited street into their own yard. One of them also wrote to his relatives who were officials in Beijing for help. The wise Beijing official wrote back: "The two families are fighting like a wall, why not let him be five feet?" Don't forget your neighbors, and be generous to your parents. "See the letter to the point, the family took the initiative to put the wall back five feet. Deeply moved, the family stepped back five feet and widened the street. Subsequently, the residents in the street followed suit, which not only solved the dispute, but also became the street name. Later generations took the street name with this legend. Of course, legends are all beautiful, but it is also another way of saying that there used to be a charity called Kuansuo in the south of Shoulu Road in West Street, hence the name Kuansuo Street.

The appearance of Kuanhuli originated from Jinan's respect and protection of ancient streets and ancient buildings. How many old streets and alleys have lost their faces in the passage of time, but Kuanhouli is committed to protecting the architectural pattern of old Jinan and continuing the customs of old Jinan. Kuang Li was established to better protect ancient buildings. As provincial-level cultural relics protection units, Jinjia Courtyard and Zhejiang-Fujian Guild Hall have been completely preserved. Kuangli gave them a place to settle down and let them watch the people coming and going in this city as before.

The old Jinan people who once lived in this area will smile when they recall that year. After the opening of Li Kuan, old people also came to see it. "Generosity is very beautiful and lively. The generous street of that year can only stay in our hearts. Seeing the fresh and generous taste now, the old Jinan in our hearts is also alive. "

Generosity-youthful prosperity in dim light

There are Kuanzhai Lane in Chengdu, Xintiandi in Shanghai, Nanluoguxiang in Beijing and Confucius Temple in Nanjing ... In the past, when people mentioned Jinan, most foreigners would think of Quanshui, Qianfo Mountain and Daming Lake, but the retro commercial brands that can meet the shopping needs of tourists are almost blank, which makes people feel sorry. Now, this 400-year-old street, Kuanhouli, has given us a new city label and a good place for tourists and local old Jinan to upgrade their style.

When tourists walk in the alley at dusk with the sunset and watch the smoke, a long-lost sight of the life of the old city residents emerges. The generosity of the gray wall will always be imagined before you step in. Her unique charm makes you want to get close. These ancient courtyards and historical scenes are interwoven with modern life, so it's so pleasant to stroll here ~

Those blue brick roads, wooden doors and windows and antique figures are full of historical vicissitudes. Of course, walking in the lively and modern atmosphere, in addition to looking at antique buildings, we can't live up to the special food hidden in the alleys, as well as the fashionable bars and classical teahouses with unique charm. The nightlife in Jinan is gradually enriched by generosity, and the birth of the next "Houhai" is also possible ~

A hundred years ago, Kuansuo Street never died. When you walk into Li Kuan, you can imagine that you came to Jinan a hundred years ago. Grey walls are plastered with tiles, flags are hung high, the breeze is blowing, and the words "generosity" in the book are swaying in the air, so you will know where you are.
