Brief introduction of Bahe:
Bahe River, a river in Shaanxi Province, China, originated in the Qinling Mountains.
Formerly known as Zishui, it was renamed Bashui after Qin Mugong dominated Xirong in the Spring and Autumn Period. Later, three points of water was added next to the word "Ba", which was called Ba water. During the Qin and Han Dynasties, there was a wooden bridge on the Bahe River called Baqiao.
It is the transportation hub of Guanzhong, connecting the main traffic trunk lines in the east of Xi. Bahe River is one of the so-called "Eight Rivers in Chang 'an". The upper reaches of Bahe River are about 0/00 Li away from Xi 'an/Kloc-,which is the discovery site of Lantian ape-man site. Its historical sites include Zheng Guoqu and Baiqu.
Bahe allusions:
In the Tang Dynasty, there was a Bahe River in the east of Chang 'an, and there was a bridge on the river called Baqiao. At that time, people often folded willows here to bid farewell to relatives and friends, and "Baqiao folded willows" became a famous allusion in Tang poetry. Bahe River, located in the eastern suburb of Xi, originated in Qinling Mountains, formerly known as Zishui. During the Spring and Autumn Period, Qin Mugong expanded westward, "opening Wan Li and then dominating Xirong".
After Qin Mugong dominated Xirong, in order to show his martial arts, Zishui outside Qin Dou was renamed Bashui. Later, three points of water were added beside the word "Ba", which became "Ba Water" and was gradually renamed "Ba River".

Bahe River is one of the important rivers of Chang 'an Bashui. The total length of Bahe River is 104. 1 km, with tributaries such as Hechuan River and Chechuan River 17, and the drainage area is 258 1 m~2. Bahe International Port starts from the North Third Ring Bridge in the south and ends at the mouth of Weihe River in the north, with a total length of 8.17km.
River construction:
20 19 according to the deployment of the city's work of harnessing water and revitalizing the city, the international port area launched two key projects of the 14th National Games to upgrade and transform the "three rivers and one mountain" greenways on both sides of Bahe River. Through high-level design and planning, high-efficiency implementation and high-quality improvement, this project will make today's Bashui Waterfront a new landmark of urban charm.
Through river curvature transformation, river dredging treatment and ecological revetment construction, the original old hard protection will be upgraded into sparse forest grassland and riverside, in which the upgrading and reconstruction projects on both sides of Bahe River include new water conservancy, municipal roads, greening projects and the overall ecological pattern of light and shadow cultural park.
