Mexico has a long history. About 50,000 years ago, some safari peoples living in northern Asia entered America from the Bering Strait where the sea water was frozen during the Ice Age, and then fanned out to the whole America. Around 7000 BC, the residents who settled in Mexico in the early days began preliminary agricultural farming, and the history of Mexico gradually took shape.

The history of Mexico can be simply divided into three stages. Indian period; Colonial period; Since independence.

India period: With the development of productive forces and social progress, the ancient Indian nation created splendid ancient Indian culture on the original basis. Olmec, Maya, Tortek, Aztec and other brilliant ancient civilizations appeared one after another.

Holme card culture is the earliest civilization in Mexico and Central America. Its main buildings include pyramids, huge stone carvings, jade carvings and pottery figurines. Maya culture is a world-famous ancient civilization, which has made unimaginable achievements in architecture, mathematics, astronomy, writing and religion, reaching a quite high level. In the late Aztec period, agriculture and commerce were very developed, and considerable achievements were made in architecture, writing and medicine. At that time, they built an extremely prosperous tenochtitlan in Nositi, which is the predecessor of Mexico City today. 1492 After Columbus discovered the New World of America, Spanish colonies began to occupy and interrupted the development of the original Indian culture.

Colonial period: 152 1 year, Spanish Hernando Cortes led an army to conquer Mexico and changed its name to New Spain. The Spanish royal family gave the land to the conquerors together with the local Indians, implemented the entrusted guardianship system, and forced the Indians to serve hard labor. In the next 300 years, as an overseas colony of Spain, its main purpose is to produce precious metals, provide raw materials for Spain to manufacture finished products, and provide markets for Spanish industrial products, so as to make the motherland rich and ensure self-sufficiency. In the later period of colonial rule, the economy here also developed to a certain extent, and industries such as textile, leather, smelting, wine-making and shipbuilding appeared. During the colonial period, the Mexican people repeatedly resisted Spanish rule. By the beginning of the19th century, various class contradictions were intensifying day by day, and calls for independence began to sweep across Mexico.

Since independence: 18 10, Father Miguel Hidalgo, the leader of the Mexican War of Independence, launched an uprising against Spanish colonial rule, marking the beginning of the Mexican War of Independence. 182 1 year, Mexico gained independence and turned a new page in history. 19 17 The promulgation of the Mexican democratic constitution marked the success of the bourgeois democratic revolution and the beginning of a strong national strength.
