Biden was elected to the United States Senate on 1968, and has held this position for decades since then. He also served as vice president, chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee and chairman of the Judicial Committee. During his political career, he experienced many important events and challenges, including Vietnam War, terrorist attacks and economic crisis.
