In the process of enterprise development, TISCO has always adhered to the synchronous and coordinated operation of the four wheels of "Party leadership, ideological and political work, enterprise management and scientific and technological progress", with strengthening the ability of independent innovation as the central link, promoting enterprise development, accelerating the adjustment of industrial structure and transforming the mode of economic growth. Especially since 200 1, Taishan iron and steel group has started a "cross-river campaign" to optimize industrial structure, increase production scale and product added value. While eliminating small steel mills, small steel mills and cement plants, the production chain of plate and strip was extended and the development of product heterogeneity was implemented: June 28, 2006, 5438+0,80. On April 20, 2004, the 950mm hot-rolled medium and wide-band production line with independent intellectual property rights in China was fully completed, filling the gap in six provinces and one city in East China. On April 28, 2006, the first phase of cold-rolled sheet was cut to ribbons, ending the history that there was no high-grade cold-rolled sheet in Shandong Province and even in East China. On August 0, 2007, the first 1700mm cold rolling mill independently designed and manufactured in China was completed and put into operation in TISCO, and the development strategy of TISCO's specialization and high-quality products took another solid step. On July 1 day, 2008, the first phase of the 600,000-ton stainless steel project of TISCO was born, which made TISCO achieve a qualitative leap in industrial structure adjustment and product transformation and upgrading.

Stainless steel project is an excellent project built by Taishan Iron and Steel Group in accordance with the national industrial policy of "controlling the total amount, adjusting the structure and eliminating backwardness" in order to further transform the economic development mode, implement Scientific Outlook on Development and further promote the development strategy of specialization and quality. The total investment of the first phase project is 6 billion yuan, and the designed annual output is 600,000 tons. This project is the world's first cluster refining stainless steel production line jointly developed by Taishan Iron and Steel Group and Ukrainian National Titanium Research and Design Institute. The main process equipment includes 600t mixer 1, 70t dephosphorization converter 1, 70t ultra-high power electric arc furnace 2, 70t LF refining furnace 1, 70t GOR refining furnace 3 and a first-class slab caster. The whole production line integrates the latest technology of stainless steel smelting in the world today, and adopts the consistent process flow of "hot metal in blast furnace-dephosphorization in converter-alloying in electric furnace-GOR refining furnace -LF refining furnace-slab caster-grinding finishing-heating in regenerative heating furnace-rough rolling-steel coil finishing-curling", which has the characteristics of "coarse material finishing, hot metal finishing, molten steel finishing and high-temperature finishing rolling" and is intensive in the whole process. In July 2008, the production of stainless steel by two-step method of saving chromium and nickel was included in the research and development project plan of major industrial technology equipment in Shandong Province, and was included in the national science and technology support plan in August of the same year.

Since the stainless steel production line was put into production, 200 series (20 1, J4, TS2 1, TS20), 300 series (304) and 400 series (4 10, 4 10S, 420, 400 series) have been successfully developed. The production line can produce five kinds of stainless steel plates of 120 steel grade, as well as advanced alloy, electrical steel, ultra-deep drawing carbon steel and other steel grades. The specification of hot rolled products is (2.0-12.7 mm) × (800-1600 mm), and that of cold rolled products is (0.2-2.0 mm). Products can be widely used in petroleum, chemical industry, aerospace, automobiles, ships, medicine, food, water treatment, household appliances and other fields. Since it was put into production, it has quickly occupied the stainless steel market in Jiangsu, Zhejiang and North China by virtue of its good cost advantage, specification advantage and geographical advantage, which has been welcomed and praised by the majority of users, filled the gap of no high-grade stainless steel products in Shandong and surrounding areas, and ended the history of state-owned stainless steel enterprises monopolizing the domestic market. At the same time, it is of great strategic significance to further improve the technical equipment level of TISCO, enhance the independent innovation ability and core competitiveness, change the layout of iron and steel industry in East China, and enhance the image status of Laiwu City in Shandong and even the whole country.
