Mianchi wine history
Legend has it that the originator of wine-making is Du Kang in Henan, and Du Kang started to make wine in the world with his own intelligence. Dukang wine is also a representative wine in Henan. As the hinterland of the Central Plains and a major grain province, Henan has a brewing history of thousands of years.

Although today's Henan wine is not as famous as that brewed in Guizhou and Sichuan, there are still many good brands in the local area. I have also sorted out three kinds of good Henan wines, which taste very good and don't lose big names. Unfortunately, due to various reasons, it has become a niche wine, and no one cares about it on the shelves, which also makes many businesses ignorant and makes these good wines a pity.

Yangshao wine is produced in Mianchi County, Sanmenxia City, Henan Province, where a "Yangshao culture" was born, which belongs to a very powerful ancient culture in the Yellow River Basin. Yangshao village cultural site is also praised as "cultural holy land" by Chinese and foreign archaeologists, and Yangshao wine has also taken root in this cultural birthplace.

Yangshao wine, named after Yangshao culture, is based on the excavation and inheritance of "Liquan". It is made by using sweet water from Liquan, artificially cultivating mud ponds in old kilns, using first-class raw materials and high-quality sorghum, and absorbing the specialties of famous wines. It was once rated as high-quality liquor in Henan Province. Yangshao wine is clear and transparent, with rich flavor, slightly apple fragrance and will not dry up.

Song He Grains Wine was produced in Song He Town, Luyi County, Henan Province. It was brewed in ancient Song He, starting in the Spring and Autumn Period and reaching its peak in Sui and Tang Dynasties. It was once called "the emperor offered wine". Today's Song He grain liquid, because Luyi Qu winery is located on the bank of the ancient Song River, the brewing water is taken from Qingliu, Song He; Because the brewing raw material is local high-quality sorghum, the wine is named "Song He Grain Liquid".

Song He Grains Liquor belongs to Luzhou-flavor Daqu Liquor, which is brewed on the basis of tradition and combined with advanced production technology. It has a strong cellar fragrance, mellow and rich, and the entrance is soft and sweet, clean and neat. Songhe Grain Liquid has won many awards at home and abroad and enjoys a high reputation in the world wine market. Unfortunately, it is not very popular in the domestic market.

Zhanggong Liquor began in Shang Dynasty and flourished in Han Dynasty, with a long history and rich cultural connotation. Zhanggong, produced in Ningling County, Henan Province, belongs to the Yellow River Basin, and has an absolute advantage in wine making. After thousands of years of accumulation, a microbial community suitable for the growth and reproduction of various microorganisms in brewing has been formed here, which also determines the unique quality of Zhanggong wine.

Nowadays, Zhanggong Liquor is made of various grains, with high-quality Daqu added and improved production technology, and 28% Zhanggong Liquor has been successfully brewed. This is the first time that China has brewed liquor with alcohol content below 30%, which has opened the development pace of low-alcohol liquor in China. Although the alcohol content is greatly reduced, the aroma is not reduced, the fragrance is full and the aftertaste is long.

It's not that there is no good wine in Henan. These are some classic and delicious Henan old wines that I have compiled. Do you know anything else? Welcome to communicate with me in the comments section.
