The big snapping turtle, also known as the real snapping turtle, is a fierce turtle species. Usually, no one will mix it with other kinds of turtles, and because of its simple feeding method, fast growth and fast meat accumulation, many people call it a meat turtle, which is used to kill and eat meat.
The real snapping turtles are mainly distributed in Louisiana, Arkansas and Tennessee, Kentucky, Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma and Texas. Crocodile turtles can be found in most parts of Mississippi, southern Alabama, Georgia and the swamps of Florida. However, the artificial reproduction of snapping turtles is difficult, and there is no successful record at present.
