First of all, it has something to do with Wang Xiaoming's death.
In the 26th year of Zheng Zheng (1366), Zhu Chong Bapai Liao Yongzhong took Wang Xiaoming Han Liner to Nanking as king. Unexpectedly, when the ship reached Guabu, it was wrecked and Wang Xiaoming drowned. Only Liao Yongzhong and two of his cronies survived the whole ship. Liao Yongzhong shouldn't have come back alive, but because his men knew how to swim, Liao Yongzhong was rescued ashore and he recovered his life. Anyway, Wang Xiaoming died inexplicably, and Liao Yongzhong died inexplicably.
Second, "use dragons and phoenixes".
First of all, what is the meaning of abuse? Abuse: refers to the use of world names or objects, especially royal items. In March of the eighth year of Hongwu (1375), someone reported to Zhu Yuanzhang that Liao Yongzhong was wearing clothes with dragon and phoenix patterns. This kind of practice is pure death. Zhu Yuanzhang flew into a rage and ordered the execution of Liao Yongzhong. I think this kind of "unauthorized use of dragons and phoenixes" is probably unwarranted!
Third, it is too close to Yang Xian.
Historically, when Yang Xian was prime minister, Liao Yongzhong had a close relationship with him. Yang xian was killed, but Liao Yongzhong survived. In fact, under any circumstances, I don't think Liao Yongzhong dares to disobey and be unfaithful. The biggest cause of Liao Yongzhong's death is "knowing too much"!
