The Historical Origin of Dahuang Township in Wannian County, Jiangxi Province
In the seventh year of Zheng De in Ming Dynasty (A.D. 15 12), Jian County was established. The history of Dahuang Township in Wannian County, Jiangxi Province originated from the establishment of the county government in the seventh year of Ming Dynasty (A.D. 15 12), the establishment of the Dahuang Commune in 1958 and the establishment of Dahuang Township in 1983. It has a long history and splendid ancient civilization. As early as the Paleolithic Age, human ancestors settled, worked and multiplied in this land. Wannian County, belonging to Shangrao City, Jiangxi Province, is located in the northeast of Jiangxi Province, on the west side of Shangrao City, bordering Yiyang County and guixi city in the east, Yujiang District of Yingtan City in the south, yugan county in the west, and leping city and Poyang County across the Le 'an River in the north.
