When was the coarse porcelain bowl made and what was its origin?
Origin: This coarse porcelain bowl was used by Zhao Yiman, the heroine of the Anti-Japanese League, when she was the political commissar of the Northeast Anti-Japanese Coalition. This bowl has precious historical value and is a national first-class cultural relic. Now it is collected in China People's Revolutionary Military Museum.

Coarse porcelain is not strictly porcelain. It is a kind of substance between clay and porcelain clay, which can be called clay. It is better than clay and worse than porcelain clay. For example, the flour ground by wheat is porcelain clay, so the remaining bran is the material used to make coarse porcelain. After the mid-Qing Dynasty, coarse porcelain bowls were widely used because of their low prices.

Matters needing attention in the use of porcelain bowls

Pay attention to the cracks in ceramic bowls, so many families will feel fine and there is no need to throw them away. As we all know, if the cracked ceramic bowl is filled with acidic or high-temperature food, some bad substances will precipitate from the glaze in the ceramic bowl, which is very unfavorable for long-term use.

It should be noted that the newly bought ceramic bowl cannot be used directly, because there are still some harmful substances on its surface, so it is best to soak it in white vinegar for 30 minutes, and then boil it in boiling water for 1 minute, so as to remove most of the harmful substances and use it safely.
