Characteristics of Chinese Characters in Ming Dynasty
Ming style is also Song style.

Songti was actually founded by Qin Gui, but because he was a traitor, people didn't want to give him a reputation. Although Qin Gui is well-read, he is very accomplished in calligraphy. He integrated the strengths of his predecessors, established his own family and created printing fonts. According to the general custom, it should be called Qin Tizi. Such as Liu Zongyuan's Liu Ti and Yan Zhenqing's Yan Ti. However, people hate him because of his bad personality. Although he used his own font, he named it Songti.

The Song Dynasty originated in the Song Dynasty, but was founded in the Ming Dynasty. The culture of the Song Dynasty was very prosperous, especially woodcut printing. During the Yuan and Ming Dynasties, a large number of Song editions were reprinted, which led to the establishment of Song fonts in the Ming Dynasty.
