Guanxian is located at the junction of Hebei, Shandong and Henan provinces, adjacent to the industrial-intensive, economically developed coastal open window in the east, adjacent to the central and western regions with vast market and rich resources in the west, and located in the provincial capital city group and the economic circle of the Central Plains Economic Zone. The whole territory is located in the alluvial plain of the Yellow River. There is a quiet Gaohe village, which is rich in forests and grain, with a total area of 1 152 square kilometers, governing 1 economic development zones, 18 townships (streets) and 760 administrative villages with a total population of 8/kloc-0.
Guanxian has a long history and outstanding people. Yu Shun embankment, in the Spring and Autumn Period, was the town of Jinguanguan. In the sixth year of Sui and Huang Kai, Guanzhou was established as a city and county, and Guanzhou was promoted to the Yuan Dynasty, and it was changed to Guanxian from the Ming Dynasty. Ran Zi, a disciple of Confucius, studied here for a long time. Guan Shi, a sage of Mencius, once talked about this matter and left a wise saying: poverty cannot be moved, wealth cannot be lewd, and power cannot be bent; Cheng Xiao is an ancient temple city in Song and Liao Dynasties, which has been preserved to this day. At the end of the Qing Dynasty, the legendary Beggars' Sect became famous throughout the country, and Song Jingshi, the leader of the Black Flag Army uprising, became famous throughout the country. During the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression period, guanxian became an important part of the Hebei-Shandong-Henan base area and was known as the Little Yan 'an in the northwest of Shandong. Guanxian has a profound cultural heritage. The world-famous tea spring, Liulin Flower Drum and langzhuang dough sculpture all originated here and are listed as national intangible cultural heritage.
Guanxian has convenient transportation. Han Ji Railway connects Beijing-Kowloon in the east and Beijing-Guangzhou in the west. Qinglan Expressway and Provincial Highway 329 run through the whole territory, and Beijing-Kowloon Highway and National Highway 106 run through the north and south. It is a transportation hub in the west of Shandong Province, connecting things, and is one of the logistics gathering areas in Shanxi, Hebei, Shandong and Henan.
Guanxian is the hometown of Yali pear in China, the hometown of Populus tomentosa in China and the advanced county of greening in China Plain. The forest coverage rate is 40%, with a vast territory and picturesque scenery. Guanxian is an advanced county in grain production in China, a production base for fruits, animal husbandry, vegetables and oilseeds, and a 300,000-mu orchard in Fiona Fang, where fruits and vegetables are fragrant all the year round.
Guanxian's industrial economy has developed rapidly, and it has actively built six hundred billion industries, including high-quality steel plates, textiles and garments, equipment manufacturing, new energy and new materials, tourism logistics, agricultural and sideline products, and food.
Guanxian is a strong tourist county and a key service city in Shandong Province, with 1 national 4A scenic spots, 2 3A scenic spots and 3 2A scenic spots, 1 provincial scenic towns and 2 tourist villages. Cheng Xiao Site is listed as a national key cultural relics protection unit, and it has created a cultural tourism image brand of Wu Xun's hometown and Wenquan Pear Township. Visiting the old course of the Yellow River, watching pear blossoms in Chun Xue, listening to poplars and Lin Tao, and soaking in hot springs have become the most attractive scenery and charm in guanxian.

From June 5438 to February 2020, the list of comprehensive demonstration counties of rural e-commerce in Shandong Province was released, and guanxian was selected.
In June, 2020, guanxian was included in the list of the second batch of revolutionary cultural relics protection and utilization counties (Hebei, Shandong and Henan regions).
