Ansha Reservoir (also known as Jiulong Lake) is located in Jiulong River upstream of Shaxi, a tributary of Minjiang River. It is an artificial lake built by Fujian Ansha Hydropower Plant. The lake is beautiful, the water quality is chaotic and the natural environment is excellent. At normal water level, the total area is 35,000 mu, the average water depth is 34 meters, and the livestock stock is 640 million cubic meters. It is an ideal place to develop freshwater aquaculture.
