Huizhou, also known as Goose City, is a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of Guangdong Province. It is one of the central cities in the Pearl River Delta and a national historical and cultural city approved by the State Council. It is located on the east coast of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, with Luofu Mountain as its back and Daya Bay as its south. Dongjiang meanders in China, with a total area of 1 1347 square kilometers. It has jurisdiction over Huicheng District, Huiyang District, Huidong County, Boluo County and Longmen County, and owns high-tech industries in Zhong Kai.
Huizhou is the central city in the middle and lower reaches of Dongjiang River, at the intersection of Hakka culture, Guangfu culture and Chaoshan culture. Various cultures blend with each other and are eclectic. Guangdong Han Opera, Cantonese Opera, Fishing Songs, Folk Songs, Dragon Dance, Lion Dance, Spring Cow Dance and Yao Fire Dog Dance are all very popular.

Huizhou City is located in the southeast of Guangdong Province, belonging to the northeast of the Pearl River Delta and the middle and lower reaches of Dongjiang River. It is located between 22 24'-23 57' north latitude and113 51'115 28' east longitude. The urban boundary is152km long from east to west and128km long from north to south. Shanwei city in the east, Nanhai city in the south, Shenzhen city in the southwest, Guangzhou city in the west, Shaoguan city in the north and Heyuan city in the northeast. The border with the surrounding six municipal districts is 846.49 kilometers. The municipal government is stationed in Jiangbei, Huicheng District.
