When this story reached Feng Menglong in the late Ming Dynasty, it became the marriage in Tang Jieyuan's Warning the World with Laughter. The earliest drama of Tang Bohu's story in traditional Chinese opera is Meng Chengshun's Laughing Before Flowers in the late Ming Dynasty. Later, people thought that Hide the Knife in the Laughter was too unsatisfactory, so it developed from Hide the Knife in the Laughter to San Xiao, and Wang Yuan and Zhuo Tang Bohu Gan Jin Fang Hua Yuan appeared.
After Qianlong and Jiaqing, pingtan artists all over the world often sang pingtan ci, such as Married in San Xiao, New Edition of San Xiao, Eight Beautiful Pictures of San Xiao, Laughing at the Border and so on. By the end of the Qing Dynasty, the folk began to spread Tanci and the opera songbook "Nine Beautiful Pictures". She not only refused, but also drew a picture called "The New Willow Map" on the fan, with a poem: In the past, Zhang Taiwu had a thin waist and you could climb the branches.
